I open my eyes, and start to sit up. Tate ushers me to lay back down.

"What happened?" I asked quietly

"You had an extreme amount of blood loss. " he replied

I only nodded my head and pulled off the covers. I swung my feet around the bed, and set them onto the floor.

"Emma, we can't leave yet!" He said quickly trying to push me back onto the bed.

"And just why the hell not, Tate?" I asked I a firm voice.

He looked shocked and a little hurt but he quickly recovered.

"You're not stable." He said with a concerned look in his eyes.

"To hell that I'm not. I'm doing just fine! " I said looking down at myself. The bandages covering my arms were soaked in blood, and my thighs were covered with freshly cut openings. I sighed and laid back down. Tate climbed into the bed with me and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling up the blanket, and singing me a lullaby.

"Hush-a-bye, don't you cry,

Go to sleep my little baby.

When you wake you shall have

All the pretty little horses.

Black and bays, dapples, grays,

All the pretty little horses.

Hush-a-bye, don't you cry,

Go to sleep my little baby.

Hush-a-bye, don't you cry,

Go to sleep my little baby.

When you wake you shall have

All the pretty little horses."

I wake up to an empty bed. I'm all by myself and Tate's not in the room.

"Tate?" I whisper quietly.

There's no answer. I get up slowly, feeling the cold air hit my bare legs. I take off the robe I was in and find my skinnys and a t-shirt laying in a bag, left on a chair Tate was sitting in. I put them on and brush my hair, not caring that I looked like shit.

"Emma, we can go home now." Tate said as he walked into the room.

I jumped. "Tate! You scared me!!"

He only laughed and kissed me. "Let's go home."
