It was already 5 in the afternoon when we decided to go home to freshen up after we practiced. We decided to let Kaycee in our band and they planned that Kaycee and I should do a collaboration. Anyways, I was the vocalist and the guitarist of our band. Joshua our pianist, Will our drummer, and Tahani our lead guitarist. Since Kaycee is added to our band, she will be the second vocalist.

"Bye guys!" We wave goodbye to each other then I decided to go home but Kaycee grabs the end of my shirt which makes me stops and look at her. "What is it?" I asked and then she smiled at me.

"Well...... I don't really know which way to go later and I can't remember which is the way that leads to where I stay." She said and then I walk near her and mess with her hair.

"You're still staying at your old house 6 years ago, right?" I asked then she nodded. "Okay. Hop on. I'll bring you home. Then be ready at 7 and I'll come to pick you up. But don't get really upset if I'm using my bike to pick you later on. I really don't have a car... I'm young dumb and broke." I said.

"Young dumb, young dumb and broke. Young dumb, young dumb and broke." Kaycee sang and then we both laughed. "Bike is fine with me tho. And besides, I missed riding with bikes. I kinda don't have a bike in Germany because dad won't let me have one and our place is far from the school so I gotta have to ride a bus every time I go to school. Which is sooooooooo boring. Can't even enjoy the breeze and the view." She said. Then a total silence enveloped the space between us so I decided to make something stupid.

"Aaahhhhh! F*ck you Kennneeeth!!!!!!!" Kaycee shouted as she lost her balance and almost fell out of the bike when I pedal faster. I was laughing so hard and can't help myself to stop.

"Stop itttttt!" She shouted at me then strangle me to death! Just joking. She keeps on hitting me in the back until I heard her laughing.

"See? You're laughing now! Haha! I just made a prank on KAYCEE RICE!" I shouted then she continued to laugh at me.

"I kinda miss these things! Doing some funny stuff and everything..... Now that I'm staying here for good, I'll never gonna miss fun stuff like this anymore." She said and then hugged me tightly.

"I'm never gonna hold you lightly anymore. I don't wanna fall! Now go! We need to take some shower before we go to the Tuffle's."

I really didn't get a chance to talk to Kaycee's mom after I dropped her off to their house. Maybe next time. I went home immediately after I dropped her off and when I arrived, mom has already set the table and done preparing foods for dinner.

"Kenneth, you're home! Did you already get the chance to meet Kaycee?" Mom asked.

"Yep mom. She's the reason why I went out early today because she texted me saying that she arrived already and she wants to see me and enjoy the day with her." I answered as I seated in front of the table and grab some bowl, fill it with food then started eating. "And by the way, I'm going out again. I'll be back by ten."

"You're going to see Kaycee? You're going to bring her to the bar today, aren't you?" Mom asked and pinched me on the arm.

"Mom come on. Don't pinch me like that. I know what that means." I answered. Well, mom knows about me doing some gig on a bar at night during Saturday and Sunday. And mom also knows that I've been doing some dance classes every Sunday morning. Well, you can't really hide from your parents, can't you?

And mom also likes Kaycee for me which is I think it's so impossible to happen because Kaycee and I were best friends. We've been friends since birth and we love each other as best friends. That's all. Nothing more and nothing less. And Kaycee doesn't really look at me as a boyfriend of her own. She just looks at me as a best friend.

"What's wrong? I like Kaycee and you're cute together! I can't deny that you look better as couples!" She said and giggles after imagining some things that I'm sure it's about me and Kaycee.

"Mom. Were just friends, okay? Best friends rather."

"Well, they say that when you marry your best friend you'll gonna have a stronger and longer relationship!"

"Mom come on... I just really love her as------"

"See? You just confessed!"

"-----as a friend mom. AS. A. FRIEND. Geez!" I said and then went to my room. But before I could really close the door I heard mom jumping for joy because I said that I love Kaycee. But as a friend.

I closed the door and went to the bathroom to take a bath. After a couple of minutes, I decided to wear a sweatshirt and a pair of ripped jeans then I wore black shoes. after looking at myself in front of the mirror, I immediately said goodbye to my mom and head outside as I immediately texted Kaycee that I'm on my way to fetch her up.

"Wow! Looking stunning tonight huh Mr. San Jose?" Kaycee said sounding like an adult who happens to be a country musician.

"Haha! Very funny Kay. And besides, you're the one who looks so stunning tonight. Not trying to flirt with someone, right?" I joked and she just gave me a glare then immediately smiles at me. She hopped on my bike and I started to pedal towards Tuffle's bar.

Since its getting late and it's getting cold, Kaycee and I decided to practice the songs were going to perform later so that our voice won't sound so cold and to avoid getting our voices destroyed.
I immediately stopped my bike when we arrived in front of Tuffle's bar. Kaycee went inside first as I parked my bike at the side of the bar.

As I entered the bar, I instantly felt the chill vibe of the bar. Ahhhhh! So relaxing. There are plenty of people already and they're watching the other performers. Like the dancers, musicians, and singers.  "Wow! This place is so nice! I wanna be part of your gig every time you perform in here okay?" She told me and I just nodded.

"There you are!" Will shouted as he spotted us from the crowd. We walk towards them and made a fist bump with them.

"So, what time are we going to perform?" I asked them.

"We'll be performing at 9. 30 minutes more and were up. Let's just get some drinks to heathen up our voices, okay?" The. They ordered some light drinks. I just took one shot and never take another shot again. My mom would kill me if she happens to know that I'm drinking. And mom is really sensitive when it comes to smelling or aromas. So can't hide from her if she smells me.

After 30 minutes, the MC went to the stage and said, "Okay guys, the group you've been all waiting for! Give it up for The Locality Error!" Then the crowd immediately cheered up and clap for us. I was about to go on stage when I heard a voice...

"Hey! Locality Error is about to play! Let's grab a seat!" And when I look at my back, I saw Gabe, Julian, Sean, Bailey, and Nicole spotting for an empty seat.

What are they doing here?!
