The ECG was beeping steadily in the quiet hospital room. It’s been a day and half since Jae-Sun got stabbed. He had gotten a successful surgery and was already out of danger.

Slowly, he opened his eyes for the first time since it happened. He glanced at the ceiling then looked around at the walls and then down on himself. Humiya was asleep on a chair beside his bed with her arms folded on the bed and had her head laid on top of them.
“Hu-!” just as he opened his mouth to speak, someone opened the door quietly. It was a woman and none other than the Prime Minister’s secretary, Kyoko Harada. She had two cups of coffee in her hands and as soon as she saw that him, she widened her eyes and said, “Ah you’re finally awake huh?” and smiled. She put the cups down on a table and sat down on the chair beside Humiya’s.

“She has been here since then. She refused to go home. Also her parents visited and your mother was really worried on the phone.” She explained calmly.

Jae-Sun quickly asked, “Is she okay?!”

“Yup” Kyoko answered.

“How about that guy?”

“Jailed. He was actually a wanted criminal.”

“That’s good.” He sighed in relief.

“What’s all this noise?” moaned Humiya, opening and rubbing her eyes.

“Hey, sleepy head.” Jae-Sun smiled.

Upon hearing his voice, her eyes opened wide and quickly glanced at him. The window behind him had the sun shine on him brightly.

He was glowing from her view. She straightened herself with her eyes and mouth wide open and kept staring and started tearing up soon after.

“H-hey!!” he said softly, widening his eyes. She quickly tackled herself onto him into a hug and started sobbing. “There there!” he said hugging her back and rubbing the back of her head.

“Everything is okay!”

Just then, buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz went something from inside Kyoko’s purse. Jae-Sun and Humiya both realized she was still there and turned at her.

“Sorry!” she whispered and took out her cell, and her lips automatically transformed into a smile upon seeing the name of her fiancé on her call screen. ‘Eiji’ it read. She quickly took the call and answered him. “Hey there!” and smiled. “Still at the hospital?” Eiji asked. “Yup! He woke up now though.” She answered. They were on the call for a while. During that time Humiya had finished giving Jae-Sun food which included a normal diet. The nurse, checked up on him and also Humiya’s dad came by and left, all before she finished the call.

“Boyfriend?” Jae-Sun asked as soon as she hung up.

“Oh! No!” she giggled. “He’s my fiancé.” She smiled slightly blushing.

“Aw! So cute Ms. Kyoko, you’re blushing.” Humiya fangirled.
“So, who are you?” Jae-Sun finally asked.

“She, is the one who knocked the hell out of that guy who attacked us and brought you here to the hospital and cheered me up, who was completely in shock.” Answered Humiya.

“Ohhh!!” Jae-Sun gasped. “Thank you!” he bowed his head slightly.
“No need for thanks and all. It’s not a problem.” She replied with a kind smile.

It was a normal sunny Sunday. The schools were packed with students. And it was lunch break at Tokyo’s newest high school which was built 3 years ago. The Tokyo High. Black uniforms with a black jacket over a white shirt. Girls wearing the same type of tops along with a checkered red skirt and a red tie with two black stripe through the middle. One wide stripe and one thinner stripe above the wider one.
