The disgusting groans of the Tangoes filled through Gaku's ears as he sat in his prison cell, leaning against the wall far from the bars where the dead were reaching in towards him. The police station was all turned. The guards, officers, detectives, everyone except the prison inmates had been turned. Gaku was supposed to be transferred to the Akita prison that day, but had been delayed due to the sudden outbreak.
"This is better. Being stuck in here is better than getting eaten by those things!" he heard his neighbor inmate say.
"You're wrong!" Gaku said. "We'll starve to death in here while looking at the faces of these things. I'd rather break out and find a shelter."
"I guess you're right." The inmate answered. "But isn't starving better than being eaten or getting turned?"
"It's better but in here, our only choice is to die. There is no hope for survival while out there, survival is an option."
"Is it?"
"It is. I am Gaku Hideo. I cleaned up this city during the first outbreak, do you not remember?"
"Oh, it's you in there?" The inmate asked, surprisedly. "Wait... why are you in a cell?" he added.
"It's a long story. But me being in here is the main reason why this happened again."
"If we break out of here, do you think you can bring everything back to normal?"
"I'm afraid, it's spread too far. But if we break out of here, I can help you survive."
"Well then... how do we do it?" said the inmate whose cell was next to the other one.
"This guy has the keys." Said the first inmate.
"Who? I can't see." Gaku answered. One of these guards over at my cell.
"Perfect." Gaku answered and got up, limped as fast as he could to the front, snatched a gun from on of the guard's holsters and started shooting the Tangoes one by one.
They weren't dying. The other Tangoes gathered up around his cell and he had no idea that the only way to kill them were to shoot them in the heads.
"They are not dying!" he yelled as he kept shooting.
"The heads." Said one of the inmates.
"What?"
"You have to destroy their brains to kill them."
"Oh?" Gaku then aimed for one of their heads and took a shot and like he said, the Tango instantly dropped dead but the handgun was now empty so he limped back forward and snatched another. He moved backward, barely avoiding the hand of a Tango and started shooting again. Before long, the whole police station was piled up in front of his cell. "Perfect. Where's the key?" he asked, looking around.
"Right there?" said the neighbor. Gaku saw his hand pointing down at a dead Tango right in front of his cell. He crouched down near it and squeezed his arms through the bars and ruffled through the dead body and found the keys before long. "There you are beautiful." Gaku said with a smirk while looking the keys but when he tried getting up, the bullet wound he had received before stung and he ended up dropping the keys outside again. Before he could reach back out, the neighbor grabbed the keys and got himself out. Gaku slid over his gun to the guy and while panting, asked to be rescued but the guy took his gun, smirked at him and ran out of the station. "Damn it!" he limped back front and saw the keys still in the key hole of the escapee's cell but it was out of his reach but luckily the third inmate was able to reach it. The guy also got himself out and before he could escape, Gaku snatched another gun from a dead officer and pointed it to the guy.
