Chapter 10

Isabella's pov

"Drake thank god your here please help Ethan" to be honest Drake looks just as suprised as me. "Come on Isabella we have a doctor at the warehouse we can take him there" "Ok" Drake grabs Ethan and we take him back to the car and to the warehouse.

When we brought Ethan in everyone was just as suprised. Thinking who would do it and why.

Drake takes Ethan into the infirmary so the doctor could check on him.

The only thing I could think about was Ethan, is he going to be ok? Who did this? And where are they because if I find out who it is then they are not gonna be happy. I hope Ethan is ok, I can't lose him.

I waited outside the infirmary for what seemed like hours. Finally, Drake walked out. "Drake is he ok? How is he?" I ask anxiously "Chill out Isabella, he's gonna be ok" "Thank god, can I see him?" I ask "Sure he'll just be sore for a couple of weeks" he states "Ok then" I reply.

I walk in to see Ethan laying there. The problem is I don't know how to handle this I mean I've seen Ethan cold-hearted, and compassionate,etc  but I've never seen him weak which scares me.

"Ethan" I state softly "Baby girl it's good to see you" He replies "You to, you don't know how worried I was, but who did this to you?" I ask curiously.

Ethan's pov

I didn't know how to answer her question. If she knew who really did it then she would just be scared or she'll lose her sanity.  I don't know how she would react, so for now, I have to lie to her. Even know it's making me feel worse than my bullet wounds do.

"Some rival gang broke in, but it's not a problem, after I'm out if here it will be solved" I state "Oh ok then, wait so should I not go back to the house" she asks me "No you can still go to the house just make sure someone's with you at all times, don't ever go anywhere alone for now" I state to her "But Ethan I.." she states "Promise me, Baby girl, I don't want you getting hurt" I state "Ok I promise, you need to rest I'll talk to you later love you" she states "I love you to" I reply, she kissed me and walked out.

Shortly after Drake walked in. "So who did this?" He asked "Rival gang" then he cut me off. "Don't give me that bullshit, it was her brother wasn't it" he states seeing through my lies "Yes it was Tyler, but you can't tell her" I say "Why? She has a right to know" he states "Don't you think I fucking know that, it's just she's had a rough past with him and this will scare her more or make her pissed, I'll tell her just not now" I state sternly "I understand but how did he shoot you anyhow" He asks wanting a full story.

"Well, I was just downstairs in the living room. I heard a crash in my bedroom so I grabbed a gun and headed up. Once I got the room there he was, he also had a gun. He asked me were Isabella was I told him I didn't know what he was talking about. So we fought and then he shot me and he was gone, to be honest he's an idiot he just made that quick move and left because he heard Isabella and you pulling in" I state "Ok, we'll make sure to get more surveillance around the house" he states "Ok then I'll see you later " I state "Alright" he replies before leaving me with my thoughts.

Isabella's pov

I can't believe this is happening it's just overwhelming. I mean with my brother, what happened to Ethan, my parents. But I have a feeling Ethan's lying, that a rival gang shot him. I feel like there's a different reason but he won't tell me. But to be honest he knows I can be weak that's probably why he won't tell me but I'm alot stronger than he thinks after all the shit I've been through.

But I suppose I could be unpredictable depending on who it was, most likely I'll want them dead. I may seem sweet but I had a dark side, everybody does. One thing you don't do is fuck with people I care about.
