Chapter 23

Jessica's pov

Things have been great lately Zalilah has been growing up. Me and Drake are doing good and so is the gang.

Right now Chloe is away in new York getting info for the gang. I'm worried about her but Ethan was sure she would get the job done. As for Isabella we're all still pretty close and great friends.

Chloe has not found her a man yet but we're trying here. I guess it's ok to be single but we just want her to be happy.

We're currently waiting in the warehouse for the shipment we're picking up soon. Being in this Gang was like my family and it was awesome.

"Alright everyone let's go" Ethan announced. We head out to the vehicles and drive off. Even know Isabella is married and had a kid she still does stuff like this it's just who she is. Without her brother and mom to hold her back she's been great lately.

Drake was always worried about me it was just who he was. Although I'm a lot stronger than her thinks he still worries to much.

We arrived at the dock to pick up the shipment it's a big one filled with new technology for the gang. There's perks to being the biggest gang in the city because we get the new stuff more quickly than most.

So we wait for the shipment to arrive so we can collect and leave. Then gun shots ring through the air which startled us but we was prepared. It was another gang attacking us since we killed the scorpions they had a good alliance which is Escape the fate.

They are attacking us I pulled out my gun and started shooting. It was kind of a full on gang battle right now, we were shooting then a course of pain ran through my leg. I fell over and looked down nothing I had been shot.

Drake rushed over to me knowing we had to get out of there. "Drake take Jessica out of here we'll finish this" Ethan told him. He picked me up bridal stayed carrying me back to the car.

"I told you I had reasons to be worried Jess" He states. "Drakey now is not the time to state who's right just drive before I kick your ass with my good leg" I state.

"Fine, someone's in a bad mood" "No, Drake I'm doing great right now this bullet doesn't hurt at all please take all the time you need. Let's stop grab a burger maybe some dairy Queen"

"Shut up, Jess I'm going. stop being so sarcastic." "Fine then" I stated.

We arrived at the warehouse he took me in to the infirmary. Where our private doctor took the bullet out and stitched it up. "Hi sis" "hey Chloe...wait Chloe" "So you got shot huh?" "Wait when did you get back?" "A little bit ago, Drake told me you go shot then I came here"

"Great, I'm fine though just a minor setback I guess" "True but don't scare me like that I was worried" she shoved me "I'm sorry chill out, does Isabella know your back or that this happened" I said motioning to my leg.

"No and no but Ethan will probably tell her though" "speaking of that are they back yet?" "Yeah, got back about the time I did" "cool, could you help me to my bed I'm exhausted" "let's go sis" Chloe carried me to my bed I fell asleep almost instantly.

(The next day)

I woke up in Drake's arms which was very comfortable. I was feeling better my leg didn't hurt as much as it did before.

"Good morning" He tells me, "Good morning" I said back.

I went to take a shower and get ready. I got changed into some jeggings and a crop top.

Anyhow we went to the warehouse to see Isabella and Ethan. When we got there Ethan and Isabella was relieved to see if was fine. Also Zalilah was happy to see me as she was sitting on Ethan's lap, "Jessica" she squealed running over to me. "Hey cutie" I said she was totally adorable "Chloe back" she tells me as on que Chloe walks in.

"Hey princess" she tells Zalilah "Hey" she replys.

For the rest of the day went smoothly us girls caught up and Chloe told us her mission went well.

After that I hung out with Drake for a while if you know what I mean *wink wink* but yeah.

Isabella's pov

I'm glad Chloe is back, and Jessica is looking good. Zalilah is doing great the whole gang finds her adorable she's quite the princess I have to say.

Me and Ethan are still keeping are relationship alive we are doing fine. Drake and Jessica are doing well I'm just curious when they are gonna get married.

Drake's pov

I'm glad Jessica's ok, she scared me half to death with her incident back there. But she's ok which is good, Ethan's doing good. But he's got his hands full with Zalilah just like her mom.

I'm seriously considering to add Jessica to marry me but I haven't decided yet.

Isabella is like a sister to me and so is Chloe and little Zalilah is just the cutest thing ever.

Ethan's pov

I'm exhausted between Zalilah Adnan the gang. But it's a good exhausted though.

I love my family and gang they are amazing and trustworthy. Little Zalilah is quite the attention getter in the gang everyone loves her.

Isabella is no longer the hot topic now. But my baby girl I is always special to me though.

I'm glad Drake has found Jessica as his girl. But I know if Jessica got shot any worse Drake would have pulverized me.

I'm seriously scared for Zalilah's teenage years. Because she has a smart mouth and great looks like Isabella, but she has that dangerous and crazy thrill like me. She's gonna be a handful but I'll always love my princess and queen.
