Chapter 17

Isabella's pov

"Ethan...yes" after that he placed the ring on my finger. It was gorgeous and I loved it and the man in front of me.

He then placed a long lingering kiss on my lips. I couldn't wait to be married to Ethan. "I'm so happy, baby girl. I love you" "I love you to" he replies.

After that we went home and you can pretty much guess what happened after that.

(The next day)

I wake up in Ethan's arms, as he gets up.

I know he had some gang work to do today which I didn't mind, I told him I'd probably be hanging with Chloe and Jessica today.

Chloe and Jessica showed up and we hung out for a while, also taking about my engagement. I was excited and so were the girls honestly.

I was anxious though with everything that was going on, between me and Ethan, Tyler, and Vicky. So much has happened in only the course of a couple months.

Ethan's pov

"She said yes"

I'm now talking to Drake about Isabella and I getting married. "That's amazing, you guys are a great couple" he states "Yeah"
"But what if she wants to get involved" "What do you mean?" I ask Drake.
"Like in the gang activity,  you know Isabella she's not no gang nor trophy wife. She's gonna wanna be in on the action and you know it" Drake states.

"Yeah, I just don't wanna think of that. I mean it's gonna be insane having her as my queen but I know she's the one" I state
"Okay dude just letting you know"

"Boss there's been an attack a the shipments dock" one of my members informs me
"Ok, let's go guys" we all head out.

The worse part about having someone to come back to. Is that you know and they know everytime you walk out that door there's a chance you might not come back. But then again that makes you fight even harder for that person.

So we arrive and basically the only details I can give is that there was blood, bodies, and guns.

We was fighting off a rival gang of ours the Scorpions. They were a pretty large and known gang and always taking down other gangs.

We were shooting and bodies were dropping but then just as we were about to wrap things up. I felt it a sharp pain of a bullet very close to my heart. All the members of the other gang dispersed. My members came rushing up to me, my senses became numb and darkness started to take over and I let it, I'm not sure why.

Isabella's pov

So I'm sitting waiting for Ethan to come home. It's getting late and I'm getting worried now.

Then my phone rings and I pick it up.

"Hello" I state
"Hey Isabella I have bad news"
"Drake what is it?"
"Its Ethan he got shot and there not sure if he's gonna make it" Drake states
"What hospital are you at?"
"Eastwing I'll see you soon"
"Ok" I reply.

With that I hung up I couldn't believe this. What was happening? Why me and why now? I was ready to cry, but I didn't.  Once I see Ethan and get info. I'm going to do what he did for me. Revenge, I will kill who ever dared to touch my fiance.

It's insane how in a matter of seconds your world could come crumbling down. My demon threatening to let loose.

I let her, I needed my psycho side now more than ever.

Ethan had done so much for me, it's time I return the favor. Maybe I am some to blame but I sure as hell ain't letting anyone get away with hurting my baby.
