When they got to the garden, she sat on the bench and he just stood there.

She waited a long time before he said something.

" Do you know why you have these powers?" Aragorn finally said.

"Well yes papa, the Valar gave them to me. Even though I don't know why they have finally shown." Gilraen told him.

"You are right. And now I need to give you something." Aragorn said as he took his sword Andùril. And he handed it to her.

"Oh Adar I can't take this. It's your sword." She told while staring in shock.

"No, the Valar made it clear that you would get Andùril, when you got your powers." Aragorn said. "There are great powers that come with this sword when you wield it" He finished.

"Thank you papa. But do you know what powers come with this sword?" Gilrean asked.

"You haven't called me papa since you were young. But no I don't only Pallando and Alatar knows. But you have powers without the sword. Here they are:
ice and fire,
ability to fly,

you can communicate and command with other people and creatures with your mind,
and you have a shield to protect you and others,
as well as healing powers.

And finally you can control the dead men of Dunharrow." Aragorn explained.
"You are the chosen one." He finished.
Gilrean just sat there quietly.
"Adar, I need to go for a walk. I'll try to be back in time for dinner. But if I'm not, don't worry, just save some food for me." Gilrean said.

He nodded and she left the gardens.

As she walked through the woods of the Reunited Kingdom of Gondor,
she thought about what she learned from her Adar.

"I'm the chosen one of the Valar. Why did Adar never tell me?" She mumbled to herself.

"Lord and queens of Valar, I need your wisdom and guidance, give me a sign." Gilraen called out.

Then she sensed someone.
Quicker than a second her bow was and strung with an arrow.

"Who's there?" She called out, "Show yourself." She finished.

Then they came out. "Oh Legolas, you scared me." Gilraen told him.

"Sorry Gilraen, something was telling me to come this direction, so I listened. I never meant to scare you." Legolas told her.

"Valar, this is your sign?" She mumbled. Her gut was telling her yes. "I don't believe it."

"What are you mumbling about?" Legolas asked. "Nothing. So did Adar tell you about my powers?"
Gilraen asked.
"Yes, he told me when you were nine." Legolas answered her.

He looked at her, she looked like she was about ready to cry. He understood, so much information in one day would make one upset or confused.

He held out his arms and she went running into them with tears already running down her face.

"Aw, honey. What's wrong?" Legolas asked. "I don't , sniff, understand, sniff, why I have to have powers." She sobbed.

"Gilraen, there is a reason that the Valar gave you these powers. They looked into your future and saw potential in you. And to be honest I understand why." He told her. Sniff.

"Why?" She asked. "Because you have a light that is in you that is so bright, anyone who is sad are cheered every time they see you. And you are unique, you don't care about yourself, you care about others. And everyone loves you." Legolas told her.

Gilraen had stopped crying. And surprisingly it didn't look like she had cried at all. "Really? You think so?" She asked him.

"I don't think so, and I see it every time I look at you and I know it." Legolas told her.

"Thank you Legolas. You know how to cheer people up and that's why I love you." Gilraen said.

"Thanks for talking to me. I have to go home now. Will you walk with me?" She asked.

"Why not? I'll gladly walk with the princess." He teased. When they got there,"Well good day and good night Gilraen. See you tomorrow."

And he kissed her head and was gone.
