Gilraen, The chosen one

Chapter Four

The next day, before the sun was even out, Gilraen was up.
She was really excited, she was going to Pallando and Alatars.
She went to the kitchen to grab some breakfast.

"Tsk tsk. You should let me be doing that, princess. Think of what your father would say if he saw you." Their cook Melda said.

" Goodness Melda, you gave me a fright. He wouldn't care, but since you are here, would you make three lunches?" Gilraen asked.

"Well alright since you asked." Melda replied. "Many thanks Melda. You are the best."
And she kissed Melda's cheek. Melda gave her the lunches and Gilraen left to get her horse ready.

There at the stables, Legolas was waiting for her. "Did you think I didn't know you were going to Pallando and Alatar's? Your Adar told me that I was to go with you."

He said once he saw the look on her face. "And I brought my own lunch." He stated.
"Fine very well. If you must." Gilraen said reluctantly.
They rode for awhile, then in the clearing of the trees.

There was Pallando and Alatar's cottage.
"Hello dear. Alrighty, let's get started with your powers." Pallando said.

So for the next six hours, they did just that. Then they had a small lunch break.

"Pallando, do you remember when Gilraen was little and when King Aragorn gave her a sword for her birthday, she could hardly pick it up?" Legolas asked him.

"Yes, yes I do." Pallando said while chuckling. Gilraen ignored them. 
Then they went right back to work.

The flying one took a little longer.
"Pallando, I can't keep straight. It's to hard."

"Focus, clear your mind. Focus all your energy." Finally she was flying! "Yes, I did it. I'm flying!"

"Yes, now come pick up Legolas." Alatar said. Neither Gilraen or Legolas were happy about that. But she did it.

"That enough for today. Go home and we will finish tomorrow." Pallando said. "Alright, see you tomorrow." Gilraen said eagerly.

That afternoon,  she hung out with her friends, they were asking so many questions, finally she decided to go home. "All those questions are making me tired." She thought.

The next day she was back at the cottage. And Legolas was with her.
They finished with her communication between people and animals.

"Where's the animal?" Gilraen asked once she realized that there was no animal to be called too. "You need to call for it." Alatar said.

"What?", Gilraen said shockingly, " But I..."    " But what? You can't do it?" Pallando asked.
  "I believe in you." Legolas told her. "Nothing is too hard for you." Finished Alatar.

After an hour of trying she finally connected with an animal. It was Gandalf's horse, Shadowfax!

"Well I called an animal can I try a person now?" Gilraen asked. "Yes." Pallando and Alatar said at same time thoughtfully.

When she had communicated with her Adar. Gilraen asked ". "Lhun wizards, adar said im could torth- i firn men -o Dunharrow with aùril." (Blue wizards, father said I could control the dead men of Dunharrow with Andùril.)

  "Yes but now is not the time to learn how to use it, but to fight with it."  Pallando told her.
