His diamond heart waits,
Waits for a sign, waits for a call.
His shaken patients breaks,
His hope begins to fall.
Staring at the clock,
The moments tick by,
Left out on the chopping block,
His heart lets out a cry.
He's playing the waiting game,
But loosing's no fun.
The passing moments to him are all the same,
Waiting for no one to come.
Waiting for love to pull through,
Waiting and wanting it all.
Waiting on a wish that has yet to come true.
He doesn't know how or what to do,
He can wait forever, but he won't wait for you.
