She's only happy in the sun, yet he leads her to the dark.

He's telling her to run, jump, skip, dance, and lark.

Vulnerable, she listens, and gives it a try.

Suddenly he's missing, gone, in a blink of an eye.

Alone, she cries, screams, reaching out for his touch.

She regrets all but one thing: Loving him too much.

With each memory so rugged, and tied together, she throws them over her back.

Carrying her over stuffed luggage, down cold familiar tracks.

Even with her shoes worn down to the sole, she continues her quest.

Aiming to reach her goal, her one, the man who stole her breath.

With each and every day, she's getting closer to him.

Little does she know she's going the wrong way, she isn't supposed to win.

All the signs point "Turn around!" But she continues on her mission.

She's standing her ground, she doesn't want to listen.

In her last memory of him, he has a smile on his face.

She's going to be disappointed like a child, to see she's been replaced.

She sees him, and runs towards him, expecting open arms.

She's thinking "I wish someone warned me," still ignorant to the alarms.

When she went to touch his hand, he pulled away.

He isn't the same man she knew from that lost sunny day.

On her knees, he points her to the door.

Now she's fallowing the breeze, searching for something more.
