Guys I actually tried researching how the adoption process works for more accurate writing, but I couldn't find 100% correct and/or really informative info on the subject so pls don't get mad at me
"Phil?" I call from the kitchen.
I actually got up early enough this morning so I could make Phil and I breakfast before we go to finish the adoption process with Trinity and Mason. It is currently 9:37 a.m. I woke up around 7 this morning and we have to leave at around 11:30.
It's still amazing to think that Phil and I are ready enough to adopt children. I know Trinity and Mason have had some rough times, but all we're hoping is to give them a better life to live.
"Yeah Dan?" Phil calls back.
"I made breakfast. Now get over here before it gets cold you aglet." I say and hear Phil's laugh from our room.
Wow, I think, six years of being together and I still can't get enough of that beautiful sound.
Phil walks up to me and wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me to him. His fingers made their way under my chin and lifts my head up before placing his lips on mine. We stayed like this for a while. Phil's tongue swiped under my lips and I opened my mouth to allow him access. Phil's hands went from my face down to my bum. He caressed the fabric covered skin before lifting me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist and my hands move from around his neck to his hair. Phil backed me into the breakfast bar and sat me down on top. He stayed between my thighs, hands on the small of my back, and mouth still attacking mine.
"P-Phil," I say between breaths.
Phil only hums in response, kisses going from my lips to my jawline, and further down from there. He kissed my neck multiple times until he found the spot he knew drove me crazy. I let out a breathy moan as he did so. I felt him smirk under my skin as I turned my neck to the side so I could give him a better angle. I knew we should stop, but it felt too good to quit.
"Ph-Phil. We should, fuck, we should stop. The k-kids," I say and I feel his lips remove themselves from my skin.
"But Dan. This'll be the last time we get to do this without having the kids around," He says and kisses my neck again. "Please baby?" Phil says and I sigh, but smile.
"I guess we could spare some time. But this needs to be quick. We leave at 11," I say and Phil quickly attaches his lips back to mine.
"Of course love," Phil says and his hand travels down to the front of my pants.
Phil starts palming me through my jeans and I let out a light moan. He continues this until I'm fully hard. Phil removes his hand from me and I let out a small whimper. He lifts me up again and walks me over to the room. I can feel him through the back of my jeans. Phil lets me down on the bed and takes off his shirt. I do the same before he starts undoing my jeans and pulls them down.

"I can't believe they're coming home with us today," I say happily.
"I know. Do you think they have a lot of stuff?" Phil asks as we pull up to the house. We recently bought a car. Phil thought it would be better than having the kids always in taxis and buses.
"I don't know. We already have a crib for Mason. I don't remember seeing one in Trinity's room when we were there. Also other things like new clothes and stuff for their rooms." I say.
"When are we supposed to move into the house again?" Phil asks.
"I think next week. Maybe we should hold off on buying big things for them until we move out of the flat into the house." I explain and he nods.
We get out of the car and Phil immediately grabs my hand and lace our fingers together. We walk up the steps to the door and Ms. Hunt answers the door.
"Hello boys! Come in!" She says and we walk into the office she has.
"Okay, so I understand you two did the licencing to become adoptive parents about a year ago, correct?" She asks and we nod. "And you've had the home studying and training needed?" Once again, we nod.
"Okay and I see you two are planning on moving?" Ms. Hunt asks.
"Yes. We wanted a bigger place for the children to live than our two room flat. We will be moving into the house next week." Phil says.
"And how big will this new home be?" She questions.
"About five rooms. Big back yard. It's a nice neighbourhood." I answer.
"Sounds wonderful. Well I have the adoption papers right here. I understand that your yearly income ranges, correct?" Ms. Hunt asks.
"Yes I does. Dan can make anywhere from 11 thousand to 180 a year and mine is anywhere from 22 thousand to 355 thousand." Phil says and I nod along.
"Okay. Well in this case since there is no accurate estimate of how much you make..." Ms. hunt goes on.
The process continues for another hour or so before Phil and I could sign the forms. As soon as we get the sign, I look over at Phil.
"I'll give you two a minute. I need to see if Trinity is ready to go and has their stuff ready." She says and walks out.
"I can't believe we're about to do this," I laugh and smile.
"I know. I'm so happy that I get to do this with you," Phil says and leans over to give me a kiss.
"I love you," I say.
"I love you too."
"Okay, so are you two ready to sign?" Hunt says as soon as she gets back.
Phil and I nod and look down at the papers. I grab a pen and so does Phil and we sign in the correct places.
"Alright! Congratulations Lesters, you two are now parents," Ms. Hunt smiles as Phil and I. "I will be mailing a copy of the adoption papers. You should get them before you move."
She guides Phil and out of the room and calls Trinity down.
"Did you do it?" She asks, hugging us both.
"Yes ma'am. You and Mason are Lesters now," Phil says. I've never seen a bigger smile on suck a little girl. It warms my heart knowing that Phil and I are giving her the life she deserves.
"Yay! Thank you so much!" She says and hugs us tighter.
"Okay. Would you two help get their things?" Ms. Hunt asks and we respond with a yes before walking to Trinity's room with her.
"There isn't a lot," She says.
"Well we're gonna have to fix that soon huh?" I say and she smiles.
"Shhhh. Mason's asleep," She hushes and I shush.
We silently bring the few boxes and small keyboard that she had. Phil picks up baby Mason and we all walk down the stairs. Ms. hunt waves goodbye to us after telling Trinity to behave. Phil buckles up Mason in the car seat we bought him and we all climb in, soon driving off.
"So Trinity, we want you to know that the home we're moving out of the home we're living in right now. We're in the middle of packing up right now. We'll be moving next week, Is that okay?" I inform her.
"Yeah that's fine," She says and I see her smile in the rear view mirror.
"You can have a room all to your self. We can have Mason in our room," Phil says.
"Are you sure?" She asks.
"Positive," we say.
Trinity just smiles as we pull up to the flat, slowly getting all of their things out and up all the stairs.
