It had only been month's since the last--major--fight Helen had been in with Ban--

Ban, at least.

It seemed since that first encounter with the bully, other people had targeted Helen.

He alway's had new bruises and mark's on his body, no matter what.

Usually, he would've told someone.

But being the guy he was, he didn't want anyone to worry for him. Especially his parent's.

They never really noticed the bruises, as he alway's tried his best to keep them covered. Sometime's they did see the one's on his face, the un-hideable ones, but he alway's had a list of excuses in handy.

He let out a sigh, brushing the hair from his face as he let himself sink into the soft mattress on his bed.

But of course, his phone had to buzz at this particular moment.

He thought it was you, at first, but was mildly confused when he noticed he had gotten a message from an unsaved number.

Unknown: Hi! Are you there?

Helen: Yes...I am. Who're you?

Unknown: I'm Tom, your classmate.

He thought for a minute. Oh...Tom. He'd met him a few time's, and had small chat's, but nothing important.

Helen: What is it? Why did you text me?

Tom: Um...I just wanted to know if you were alright..

Helen: It's none of your business.

Tom: Listen, I know how you feel right now. You're in the same situation I was. I really want to help you, but I can't...sorry.

Helen: I have to go...

Tom: Alright, then. I'll see you later, I guess?

Helen didn't bother responding, and simply turned off his phone. He hastily rolled to his side, deciding to go to bed a little earlier than usual.
