“Oh gods,” I groaned as I tried to stand up. I had no idea where I was, but I was pretty sure the guy assisting me was Aaron. At least I found him. “Tell the world to stop spinning.”

“Hey world, do us a favor and stop spinning please,” I heard Aaron say. I tried to smile but this quenching feeling in my stomach caused me to jump out of my brother’s arms and towards the bathroom. I barely made it before I vomited into the toilet.

I heard Aaron talking and forced myself to vomit a bit quieter. “I’m a terrible brother.”

“Don’t say that. You’re a great brother.” Another person said, I assumed that was Ari. As much as I didn't’ like that girl, I had to give her points for that. Aaron was the best brother in the world, it wasn’t his fault I witnessed a rated R scene.

I heard a thump and opened the door to find Ari on top of my brother. Normally I would’ve yelled at her and kicked her ass, but Aaron was smiling. I wanted him to be happy. Instead I tried to come up with the “nicest mean remark” which happened to tie in with my pain, “Ugh, break it up guys. I’m in pain here.” I ducked back into the bathroom hiding a smile.

“Uh, I should probably help her.” Aaron said.

“Oh yeah, I’ll go find some aspirin for her.” Ari left the room.

I came back out, “I don’t really like her, but whatever. She can’t touch my stuff.”

Aaron gave me a sheepish smile, “Sorry about leaving you.”

I sat down next to him and leaned on his shoulder, “It’s fine. I was just worried.”

He gave me a weird look, “So how was your first party?”

I took a deep breath, “You’re not the only one who had an encounter with Cupid,” I mumbled. Aaron sat up causing my head to jerk up on his shoulder, “Owww!”

He winced, “Sorry sis. So who is he?”

I couldn’t help but blush, “Yarin.”

He frowned, “Should I go have a talk with this guy?”

I thought for a minute, “Only if I get to talk with Ari.”

“That shouldn’t be too bad. Promise you won’t kill her?”

I looked at him, “Man you really like her.”

He blushed, “Yeah, I do.”

“Fine, promise. I won’t promise to like her, but I won’t kill her.” He grinned at me and stood up, extending his hand to help me up. We walked out into the hallway. A drunk girl wearing a dress what reeked of vomit came up to us.

“Hey handsome, let’s get a room. Your girl can come with us,” she slurred as she started grinding herself against him, her hands traveling towards his waistband.

“Oh no you don’t,” I snapped, “This handsome’s taken and unless you want Miss Popular taking down your wasted ass you better move.”

She smirked, “Snappy, I like that. It’s more fun in bed.”

I growled and lashed out with my heels. The spiky studs caught her by then leg and she lost her balance. Oh yeah, the power of studs. Aaron snapped out of it when we heard Ari’s voice. Dangerously low and angry. “Get your hands off me.”

Aaron started toward the stairs and I had to run to catch up. I backtracked for a few seconds and gave the drunk girl another good kick before running after him. I ran into his back and peeked over his shoulder. Some drunk dude was grinding himself into her ass. Man this was gross. Aaron seemed to be frozen, I had no idea why. “Aaron,” I poked his cheek.
