Foxy's POV
I sat in the chair at the hospital waiting room. I was nervous and scared. Then a doctor walks in front me.
I looked up at him. His expression was sad but I could tell he was trying to hold it back. "Congratulations sir the baby is healthy and it's a girl" he said.
I was happy until he said the next part. "But I'm sorry that your loved one is dying" he said. I was shocked "b-but how?" I said quietly.
"I can explain later but now would you like to talk to her before she goes?" He asked pointing to a room. I ran to the room and banged open the door.
There on the bed was (Y/N), the girl I fell in love with. She weakly looked up at me and smiled. "Foxy.." she said almost to quiet to hear.
I ran to her side. "(Y/N)" I said holding her hand. "Foxy, I saw the baby and she's beautiful" (Y/N) said. "I h-haven't seen her yet" I said looking down. Tears started to stain my eyes.
"I know I'll be leaving the baby with you alone and I'm sorry" she said her eyes slightly closing.
"It's ok (Y/N) I'll take care of her" I said tears running down my cheeks. She smiles weakly "I know you will" she say. "I love you Foxy" (Y/N) says and then her hand grip loosens. The heart meter attached to her goes straight.
"I love you too" I say. I silently cry next to her.
My friends pulled me away from her after maybe a few minutes or a hour, I couldn't tell. The doctors later gave me the baby when I calmed down. (Y/N) was right the baby was beautiful.
"Excuse me sir but what is the name of your baby?" A nurse asked looking at a birth certificate. I thought for a moment before answering. "(Y/N)" I said then my friends hugged me in comfort.
We all soon got back to the pizzeria. I haven't let go of the baby since they gave it to me and I don't plan on letting go. I walked straight to Pirates Cove without saying a word.
I sat in a corner looking at the baby I named (Y/N). The baby reminded me of her.
I hugged the sleeping infant tightly. "I will protect you for the rest of your life" I started "I will love you no matter what. I'll make sure no one hurts you" tears started to run down my cheeks. "B-because I love you."
I have said that to (Y/N) when we started dating. I told it to her when ever she was mad at me or when she was sad. It always made her feel better.
I promise to protect this baby forever.
Third POV
Foxy kept his promise and did his best to keep little (Y/N) out of harms way. After she was born he was never seen without her.
As (Y/N) grew up she appeared to look as fragile as a small stick.
"(Y/N)!" Foxy called for her. "In here dad" he heard (Y/N) say from Pirates Cove. He ran in the cove and saw small (Y/N) leaning over a small box.
"Lass where have you been? What are you look—" he stopped and saw what she was looking at. It was the box Foxy kept of everything about his lost love.
"Is this mommy?" The small child asked. He had never shown her a picture of her mother. "Yes it is" Foxy said leaning down beside her.
"She is very pretty" the child said looking at the pictures. "Yeah just as pretty as you" he said chuckling. (Y/N) smiled and held up a picture.
"Is this you and mommy?" She asked. Foxy looked at the picture and smiled remembering the great memories he had. It was a picture of Foxy and lost (Y/N) sleeping together on a couch, with his arm around her.
"Your aunt Chica took that" Foxy said chuckling "it was before we had you." He hugged (Y/N) and she giggled. "You two looked cute together" (Y/N) said. "Yeah I guess we did" Foxy says smiling.
