Lance looked up from the adult coloring book he was working on and saw his best friend Michael walking toward him. Lance lowered the volume and paused the audiobook he had playing on the surround sound.
"Listening to that book by Melody Chalmers called 'Kicking Down The Doors.' "
"Sounds like shorty is angry."
"Well this is only chapter 3, so I'm guessing this is only grazing the surface. You want a beer?"
"Nah man, just came to check on you to see how you're doing."
"I'm taking this a lot better than I thought I would. Berkeley is with my moms keeping her, Staci, and Traci company and Rebecca just came and got the last of her stuff."

"Honestly Mike, I can't say that I didn't see this coming. Bec loved me, but she was different when it came to him. Her eyes lit up every time she had to pick out clothes for him, she would smile every time he texted, hell even when she and I would have sex, the connection we once had wasn't there. She seemed so uninterested. That still kinda fucks me up to be honest."
"So what are you up to today?"
