[Chapter Two: A Touch of Evil]

Lily stood in the hallways of Riverdale High the next morning, a nervous look on her face. After the events of last night, what would everyone think of her. More importantly, she had to talk to Cheryl. After finding out about how Jason was killed, she had to be there for Cheryl. She walked towards her locker to get her books out. While she was getting her books out, she caught a glimpse of Archie talking to Jughead. Archie turned his head and saw Lily. When the two made eye contact, Lily slightly waved. Archie nodded. He then turned back to his conversation, leaving Lily with a little more stress.

As she walked down the hallway, she caught sight of Reggie, who walked over to her. She turned her head to him, still walking. "About last night..." He cut her off, smiling. "It's alright." He then stopped walking. "So, what time should I pick you up?" Lily's eyes slightly widened. "You still want to-" He nodded. "Yes." She tilted her head and thought about it for a minute. "Six." He smiled, and they continued to walk. Eventually, they reached the classroom door. "Well, I'll see you after school." She kissed Reggie on the cheek and walked into the classroom, a smile on her face.

At lunch, Lily walked over to Veronica, Betty, Archie, and Kevin. "Hey guys." Betty almost glared at Lily, making her very uncomfortable. "O-okay, I'll go somewhere else." Veronica shook her head. "No, sit." Lily skeptically sat down. "So what are we doing?" She then saw the guitar. "Oh.

Come on, turn the radio on and honey lets dance, dance, dance

For the rest of the night, it's better left unsaid

Yeah, come on, play the remix loud and honey we'll dance, dance, dance.

For the rest of our lives, I'm not ready to go yet, we've got history to forget.

Archie stopped playing and looked at Betty. "Betty? You okay?" Betty chuckled. "I'm supposed to say yes. That's what the nice girl always says, but..." She stood up. "No, I'm not. I want to be. I thought I could be. But it's just too much too fast. I'm sorry." She walked away. Archie stood up and followed her.

Lily sighed. "I guess I should probably go." She stood up and left.

She ended up seeing Jughead in the hallway. "Hey, Jug." He motioned her over. "What is it?" She then got a good look and saw Archie and Ms. Grundy kissing in the music room. She put her hand to her mouth. "Oh my god."
