Death- a personification

I am not a deep person, I just write what comes in my head.

You crush my soul

whole.

You bring misery, sadness,

and grief.

It becomes hard

to turn over a new leaf.

You are dark and sad,

both good and bad.

But,

Nobody wants you up close.

You feed upon us,

without any fuss.

You torture us,

till we beg for mercy.

There's a sly smile on your face

when we say we are sorry

for our wrongdoings.

And You,

The Dark Lord

take us in the depths of your land

and there

our story

Ends.
