Me and @_Stars_Ocean_Music_ had a kind of unofficial competition on writing a poem on 13 Reasons Why, so here's mine (her's is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY better, trust me)
A secret whisper
spreads like wildfire
A plaintive call,
heard by none,
lost in a churning sea of voices.
A silent melody,
sung by one,
who never learnt
what life was about.
Lost, ignored and clueless
She was
hidden somewhere in the murky marshes of existence.

She longed to feel
Loved, adored
or maybe just
known
by someone who didn't
overlook her thoughts.
If only
her knight in shining armor stayed
to listen to her intricate tale.

They said it was a night to remember
But she remembered something worse
How she drove away
the one who cared.
She wondered long,
Pondered hard,
whether her actions had been stronger than her words.

When all seemed wrong,
Positivity absent
She decided
she would take her life.
To be remembered,
for better or for worse,
she made seven tapes.
Thirteen names.
Thirteen Stories.
Thirteen Reasons Why.
