I walked out and looked at the ground and i walked past shawn and he came running over to me "wheres jake bentleigh" he said to me confused."dead" i said to shawn my voice filled with pain and as soon as i told him jake was dead it finally settled into my brain that he wasnt sleeping, that he was never coming back and i would never see him again and then i just broke down and fell to the floor crying remembering how jakes last words were 'dont forget me' and how i promised him i wouldnt forget him.
Shawn sat down on the floor with me and wrapped his arms around me and comforted me until i started to calm down.I got up and walked into the house and when i went to the room jakes body was in i remembered the man had not left and then i saw him standing over my jakes, body and then all i saw was red , i rushed over to the man and punched him,kicked and scratched him with as much strength as i could,"YOU DONT DESERVE TO LOOK AT HIM YOU BASTARD YOU KILLED MY JAKE,WHAT DID HE DO TO YOU EH WHAT DID HE DO" i screamed at him and then shawn finally realised what i was doing, and came and dragged me off of him and pinned me against his chest.I struggled and in the end just elbowed shawn in the stomach and he keeled over winded and i took this as my chance to strike, so i ran over to the man and started over again until i could see a bruised and bloody man layin in front of me then i took the gun used to kill jake and i was about to pull the trigger when he said "please dont kill me i i have a family" he pleaded pathetically."JAKE HAD A FUCKING FAMILY AND YOU STILL KILLED HIM YOU CUNT" i screamed in his face."you took jake away from me and his family, you,you did,i can never see him again now and i am gonna feel half empty for the rest of my life, because of you" i whispered to him.
I pulled the trigger and walked simply away from the room with shawn in tow ."take me home please shawn please just take me home i feel so dirty i need to wash and i am so hungry but if i eat something it will probably come back up again i think i still have some things of jakes at home that i saved in case something like this happened" i said to him."sure i can leigh sure i can" he said to me using jakes nickname and i felt it comforting.I walked to the car and i picked the lock and hotwired it for shawn an then we were on our way home.
When we were home shawn got out and opened my car door for me and i got out and just walked up to the door after saying thank you to shawn and i went in to my house and i invited shawn in to the house and then we went upstairs and went into my room and got changed and i slipped into bed and shawn went to leave the room when i grabbed his hand "please stay with me shawn i cant lose you to" i said to him then he nodded and slipped into the bed and we fell asleep wrapped in each others arms
