Chapter 5
~Rune's POV~
"Alright we are after...Ciel Phantomhive!?" I yell out. "What?" Grell exclaims. I walk right back into the library and straight to William's office. "Will!? Why is Ciel Phantomhive on the list?" I ask him. "Well the brat needs to die. Even if he is contracted to Michaelis he must die" Will explains. "Also if you fail to do so I will kill you both" Will adds, pushing up his glasses. "You would kill your own sister? That's messed up" I mutter and walk out of the office, Grell following. "What now?" he asks. "We protect Phantomhive" I simply reply and walk to the Phantomhive manor.
~Grell's POV~
'Is she crazy!? She is gonna get us both killed! But she does have a point' I think to myself. A few moments later we finally arrive to the Phantomhive manor. Rune knocks the door then Sebastian opens the door. "What are you two doing here?" Sebastian asks, narrowing his eyes. "We must speak to Ciel, and it involves you too" Rune replys. "Alright, follow me" Sebastian closes the door after Rune and I enter and we follow hin to Ciel's study. He knocks softly on the door. "Young master, you have two visitors" Sebastian says. "Come in" a faint voice says behind the door. "Rune? Grell?" Ciel asks questionally. "We have something really important to discuss" I say. "Alright Grell. What is it?" Ciel asks. "William wants us to kill you because you are on the to-die list" Rune replys. Sebastian instantly steps in front of Ciel in a defensive position. "But we are here to protect you. Your duty to this world has not yet been ful-filled" Rune finishes. "Even though Will will kill us for protecting you, she has a point" I add. "Hmm...I guess you two could stay for a while" Ciel mutters. "But young master-" Sebastian starts. "If they are willing to protect me and have their own lives on the line then so be it" Ciel cuts him off. "Let Sebastian show you to your rooms" Ciel finishes. Sebastian leads Rune and I to our rooms.
