Chapter 16

~Rune's PoV~

I wake up to find myself in a small tent. "Well, well, well. Look who's awake." A guy with orange hair and.a skeleton for a hand walks in. "Joker." I growl under my breath. "Hey hun. I've missed you." Joker says, trailing his finger down my cheek. Then another guy with silver hair and a snake around his neck comes in. The snake around his neck hisses. "'Joker, you need to hurry to the circus tent. Doll fell off the tight rope!'...says Emily." Snake muttered. "Alright. But keep an eye on Rune." Joker says, leaving the tent. "'So, what are you doing back here?'...says Emily." Snake murmurs. "Joker kidnapped me and brought me here." I sigh. "'Well, we'll have fun with you tonight'...says Emily." Snake mutters. "Over my dead body." I growl. Snake chuckles as a boy with blonde hair with black in the front wearing a black and white stripped shirt walks in. "Hey Rune. Heard Joker brought you back." The guy says. "Well you heard correctly, Dagger." I sigh. Dagger comes over to me and sits down. "Don't worry, I'll help you escape. I know about your little" Dagger points at my stomach "problem." He whispers. I look over at Dagger, my eyes filled with hope. "You'll really help me?" I whisper back. "Of course. You're like my best friend." Dagger smiles. I try to hug him but my arms are tied together. Dagger chuckles and hugs me. "Thank you so much." I murmur. Dagger just smiles at me and helps me stand up. "Shh, we gotta be quiet okay?" Dagger mutters, cutting the ropes off my arms and legs. I nod and follow him out of the tent. We quietly run to where the entrance is to the circus. "Rune has escaped! And Dagger has gone as well!" I hear someone scream. I look over at Dagger. "Come with me. If you don't you'll be killed!" I whisper-shout at him. "I'll be fine." Dagger half-smiles. I shake my head and grab his arm, running towards the way of the Phantomhive Manor.

~Grell's PoV~

I sit in the corner of Rune's and I's room, crying softly. "Grell, we'll find her. Trust me." Ciel kneels beside me. "And what if she's dead by the time Sebastian finds her?" I sob. "She's a strong girl, she wont be killed." Ciel murmurs. After Ciel says that I hear Sebastian knock on the door. "Young master, I found Rune and she has brought someone else with her." I hear Sebastian say. I quickly jump out, open the door, and run past Sebastian. "RUNE!" I scream out. "Grell!" Rune smiles and runs towards me, hugging me tightly. I look over to see another guy standing there awkwardly. "Who are you?" I growl under my breath. "That's Dagger. He helped me escape from where I was kidnapped." Rune explains. I walk towards Dagger and hug him. "Thank you...you saved my wife." I mutter. Dagger smiles slightly and hugs me back. "No problem. She's my best friend, I couldn't let her stay there. Especally since she's pregnant." He says. I see a slight glint of evilness in his eyes but I just ignore it. Rune walks over to me and wraps her arms around my waist. I kiss the top of her head and smile. "So Dagger, are you gonna stay here or head back?" Rune asks. "I'm gonna head back. If they ask where I was I'll just say that you escaped and that I was running after you." Dagger shrugs. "Oh, okay. Thank you for helping me." Rune smiles and hugs him. "Yeah, thanks for saving her." I half-smile. "No problem. Take care you two!" Dagger waves and leaves.

~Dagger's PoV~

I will get Rune back. Even if it kills me. 'Hey Dagger, did you get the location of her?' a voice says through a walkie-talkie I have. "Yes, I have the exact directions of where she is staying." I say to the walkie-talkie. 'Perfect. She will become ours again!' The voice says again then evil laughter comes after it. "Oh Rune, you're in for a hell of an adventure." I smirk.
