Rune the Shinigami (Grell x OC/Reader)

Chapter 12

~Grell's PoV~

'Today I am going to propose to Rune...' I think and smile. I go into London and walk into a jewlery shop. I pick a beautiful 2 diamond ring, one diamond is red and the other one is black. I pay for the ring and walk out of the store with the box in my hand.

When I get back to the manor I take a deep breath then walk inside. "Where's Rune?" I ask Sebastian. "In the garden" he replies then walks away. I make my way towards the garden where we admitted that we liked eachother and I see Rune sitting on the bench. I clear my throat "Ahem, Rune?" I walk over to her.

~Rune's PoV~

"Ahem, Rune?" I hear Grell's voice say behind me. "Yes?" I look at him and he is right in front of me. He kneels down and he is fiddling with something. "I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" he asks and holds out a beautiful red and black diamond ring. I look at him and smile, tears forming in my eyes. "Yes!" I yell out and bear hug him. I cry happily on his shoulder and he chuckles a little then twirls me around. He slides the ring on my finger and I just hold him tight. "I'm afraid to let go of you..." I whisper in his ear. "Its okay" he smiles and tries to pry me off. I don't let go so he just sighs and walks back inside the manor with me still clinging on him. Ciel trys to keep from laughing but he just laughs anyway. I finally let go and just look at Ciel. "So you guys are betrothed now" Ciel says, holding up my hand and looking at the engagement ring. I nod and smile widely. "When will the wedding be?" he asks. Grell leans over and whispers the date to Ciel. I try to catch what they're saying but I can't hear them. "When is your wedding Ciel?" I smirk. "To be honest there will be no wedding because once I get revenge, Sebastian will take my soul" Ciel whispers. I give him a sad look then I go upstairs. "Hey, Sebastian? Why do you have to take Ciel's soul?" I ask him. "Its part of our contract" he replies. "Well its not fair" I mumble. Sebastian looks at me and narrows his eyes. "Life isnt fair" he growls. "Just let him live his life! Let him get married and have kids, Sebastian. He needs to experience that" I yell at him. Sebastian throws me against the wall and pins me to it, digging his fingernails into my skin. "Listen you reaper, I can do whatever I want to Ciel after the contract is done" he growls into my ear. I knee him in the balls and he falls to the ground. "We'll see about that" I chuckle and go back down stairs.

~Grell's PoV~

I see Rune going down the stairs, holding her wrists. "Are you okay, Rune?" I ask nervously. "Sebastian" Rune growls. I ball my hands into fists and narrow my eyes. "Don't do anything, Grell" Rune holds my arms. I sigh then kiss her forehead. "Alright my little Rune" I look at her and smile. She smiles back and hugs me. I go upstairs and see Sebastian. I narrow my eyes and growl under my breath as I walk past him. "I can't believe that I liked him" I mutter then shudder. I reach my room and walk inside. I grab my death scythe then lay on my bed. I run my fingers along the blade of the chainsaw death scythe. "If Sebastian lays another finger on my fiancé then he will die" I mumble, clenching my scythe in my hand. Rune comes in and lays beside me. She looks at my scythe then pulls hers out. "I can't believe this scythe is more...powerful than yours" Rune says, running her fingers along the blade of her sword. I grab her hand and intwine my fingers with hers. She lays her head on my shoulder and I smile. "If anyone else hurts you then tell me. I'll have them to hell in no time" I whisper in her ear. She giggles then sighs. "Alright, Grell" she smiles and kisses me. I close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
