Chapter 6

~Rune's PoV~

Sebastian showed Grell and I our rooms and walked away to do some chores. I put my bag of clothes beside my bed and put my sword death scythe in its sheath which is clipped onto my right side of my pants. I walked into the hallway and went to Grell's room. I knock softly on the door then he answers. "Grell, keep a sharp eye out for William. If you see him just either yell my name or run to me" I tell him. Grell nods and shuts his door. I walk back to Ciel's study. I knock on the door and hear a "Come in" from the other side. I walk into the room and close the door. "Yes Rune?" Ciel asks. "Nothing my lord. Need help with work?" I reply. "You can help I guess" he sighs. I sit down in the chair in front of his desk and start working on paperwork. "The real reason I'm in here is to keep an eye out for you" I mutter. "I have Sebastian for that" he growls. "You don't understand. William's death scythe can kill anything, especally demons like Sebastian" I explain. Ciel's blue eye widens and stares at me in shock. "Only my scythe can defeat him" I add. Ciel still stares at me and its starting to make me feel uncomfortable. Then Sebastian comes in with a cart of tea. "What happened?" the demon butler demands and narrows his eyes at me. "I just told him the truth about William's death scythe" I respond. "Oh that..." Sebastian whispers and pours Ciel a cup of Earl Grey. "But I told Grell to keep an eye out, so if he screams, Sebastian hide Ciel" I stare at Sebastian. He bows down with his left hand over his heart. "I shall do whatever it takes to guard my young master" He mutters. I nod then get up to go outside.

~Grell's PoV~

I step out of my room and I start walking to the garden when I hear Rune from Ciel's study. She is talking about William's death scythe. 'Oh no...his scythe can do that!?' I scream in my mind. I continue to walk to the garden. I see a huge demon hound and the gardener Finnian. "Plu-Plu! Mr.Sebastian is gonna get mad!" Finnian yells. "Oh? And why will he get mad at the dog for? He doesn't know better" I ask. "O-oh Mr.Sutcliff! I didn't see you there" Finni stutters. I chuckle half-heartedly. 'Oh humans...such an ignorant species' I think. I see Rune walk outside and towards Pluto. She scratches him behind his ear and gets on his back. "Hey Grell. Want a ride?" she asks. I stare at her in disbelief. "Suit yourself!" she yells and rides Pluto into the woods. "Looks as if you've taken a liking to Rune" I hear a voice whisper behind me. I whip around and see Sebastian smirking. "I can tell because of they way you stare at her and how you don't cling to me" he chuckles. I blush and turn back around. "Shut up Sebas-chan" I say.

I make my way back inside for dinner. "Grell, I must talk to you" Ciel says. I walk over to him and kneel down. "Not here! In my study where Rune cant hear" he whispers. I nod and walk to Ciel's study. "Alright, Sebastian told me about your little 'crush'" Ciel exclaims smirking. "So what?" I reply narrowing my eyes. "Do you want help to get her attention?" Ciel asks. "Y-yes" I reply.
