Beth had no idea when she fell asleep but the door opening woke her up, Daryl walked in looking tired.
"Sorry for waking you" he said.
"Let me go and we can call it even." She said.
"Nice try but no" he said taking off his vest.
"What are you doing?" She said pulling herself up into a sitting position.
"Getting ready for bed." He said taking his shirt off making Beth blush and look away.
"N-No, you can't sleep here." She said.
"This is my room and my bed and I will sleep in my bed if I want, now go back to sleep." He said undoing his belt.
"Oh my gosh, don't do that." She said turning her head away. She heard him sigh and a zipper go down.
"I'm not going to take my boxers off I promise." He said. Beth then hears rustling of the bedding and then the bed dipping. She turned her head back to him to see he had his naked back towards her. She stared at him for a second noticing there were scares that looked like whip scares on his back.
"Daryl?"
"Hmm"
"Who did that to your back?" She said making him quickly turn and sit up. She saw the front of his chest was clear of any scars then realized she was staring and quickly looked away. Daryl laid back down but this time facing her.
"When I was fifteen years old and lived in Georgia I pissed off the wrong dude so that dude told my father what I did. My father then took me into the woods and beat me with a whip til I was close to death then he took me back to our house and my mother nursed me back to health. Now go to sleep we have a long day tomorrow." He said.
Beth was to shocked to say anything so she laid down facing him, she barely felt Daryl pull the blanket up over them. The next day, Beth woke up to the sound of chuckling and looked up to see a creepy dude looking at her at the end of the bed. She looked over to see Daryl still sleeping, she knew who he was and it scared the crap out of her that he was so close.
"Daryl wake up" she said softly. Daryl grunted before scooting closer to her.
"Daryl, your brother is here." Daryl shot up and glared at Merle.
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE MERLE!!"
"Don't get your panties in a twist I came to tell you breakfast is here and that mama wants to officially meet the girl." He said then left. Daryl sighed and rubbed his face before looking at her then got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. Beth looked away but had caught a look at his boxers, he hadn't lied to her and for some reason Beth felt happy about that. Beth sighed and pulled herself into a sitting position as she heard a flush then the sound of the shower being turned on. Daryl came back in the room and stared at her.
"I'm going to unlock the chains and then you are taking a shower so don't run, it is pointless cause I can catch you." he said.
"Fine" she said still not looking at him. He went over to a dresser and pulled out a drawer before pulling out a key. He shut the drawer and then walked towards her. He unlocked her and she drop her arms and rubbed her wrists before getting off the bed. She walked towards the bathroom to see a window that was to small to fit in. She turned to Daryl who was staring at her.
"Can I shut the door to get some privacy?" He slowly shook his head making her sigh. "Can you at least turn around?" He turned around and she quickly undressed and got in the shower. She noticed that there were only men's soap but not wanting to waste time she quickly used the shampoo to wash her hair then conditioned it before washing her body and rinsing. She turned off the water when she was finished and got out, grabbing a clean towel on the towel rack before she wrapped it around her body.
"I'm done" she said. He turned around and looked her up and down before letting her through. He lead her over to the bed and she sat down before he handcuffed one of her wrist to the bed rest.
"I'm going to go get some clothes from my mother that might fit." He said before leaving her alone again.
