A few days later Daryl and Beth lay in bed earyl in the morning staring at each other. The past few days have been some of  the best days of their lives. They have talked more and laughed more, Beth even got to know Merle and Sarah more. She didn't want this part of her life to end.

"What are you thinking about?" Daryl asked.

"I was thinking about how I went from a trapped almost all-american girl to a free adventurous woman and I don't want this to end."

"Me either so let's just enjoy the moment." He said. Beth moved her unchained body closer to his. Daryl had told her he trusted her enough to let her go unchained. Beth told him she wasn't going to leave him and he believed her.

"Let's get married" she said.

"What?" He chuckled. Beth sat up and sat criss cross facing him.

"I love you Daryl and I want to spend the rest of my life with you so let's get married." She said. Daryl sat up and leaned his back against the head board.

"Beth, I kidnapped you from your family and when they catch me they will think I forced you to marry me." He said.

"If they catch you then I will say I wanted to marry you and that I love you." Beth said.

"Be reasonable Beth" he said getting out of bed.

"I am, aren't you the one who said it's you or no one else and I told you the same, screw the world if they don't want us together." She said following him off the bed. He stared at her for a second before saying.

"If I am caught they will probably take me and my family back to Georgia to put us on trial. I could spend up to ten years for kidnapping you and I don't want you to have a husband who is in prison and can't protect you." He said.

"If I am married to you I would have visitation rights and I don't care if I am a prison wife, I don't need to be protected cause I can take care of myself. I want to marry you Daryl." She said.

"Your family will never let you see me." He said.

"I don't care, I will get a job and move out, you are just grasping for excuses, do you even want to marry me?" She asked.

"Of course I do I just don't want to trap you." He said. Beth slid her hand up his naked chest and wrapped them around his neck.

"I'm happiest when I'm trapped with you, Daryl." She said. He sighed and leaned his forehead on hers. "Marry me Daryl"

"Okay" he said. They heard the door open and turned to see who it is. Daryl covered Beth's eyes as a half naked Merle stood in the doorway.

"For God's sake Merle put some clothes on, no one wants to see that." Beth said.

"Well if you guys weren't shouting the house down at eight o'clock in the morning I wouldn't have to be standing in front of you." Merle said.

"Get out" Daryl said.

"Congratulation" he said. All of a sudden Sarah appeared behind Merle in her robe.

"My baby is getting married." She said pushing past Merle to hug Daryl. Daryl let Beth go but made sure his body blocked her view of Merle.

"Thanks mom" Daryl said hugging his mother. Sarah then turned to Beth and smiled.

"Don't worry about money cause if we are caught I have some saved."

"Sarah, I can't take your money" Beth said.

"They will freeze our accounts so I rather have you take it than have the government get their greed little hands on it." Sarah said.

"Fine" Beth said surrendering. Sarah nodded then turned to Merle.

"Go get dressed cause we have some errands to run." Merle sighed and left to get dressed. Sarah then turned to Beth and Daryl.

"When are you guys getting married?" Beth looked at Daryl who shrugged.

"Well since it will be a small wedding how about tonight, we can have it in the living room and we can get Merle ordained online." Beth said.

"I'm sorry that you don't get a big wedding." Sarah said.

"Never wanted a big wedding so don't be sorry." Beth said.

"Okay, I will go get dressed and you mister will go with your brother and get the tuxes and book a hotel for your brother and I." She said. Daryl nodded before she left, he then turned to Beth and sighed.

"Let's get ready" he said. They showered and got dressed before Daryl left the room. Beth sighed and started doing her make up that Sarah had bought for her along with clothes she had said she'd get for her.

"Knock knock, are you decent?" Sarah said peaking her head in the bathroom.

"Yes, I'm decent" Beth said.

"Great, I wanted you to have this." She said handing Beth a large dress box. "It was my wedding dress and I thought you might like to wear it." Beth moved past Sarah and left the bathroom then she walked over to the bed and set the box down. She opened the box and pulled out a beautiful short white wedding dress.

"It's beautiful and I would be honored to wear it" Beth said. Sarah smiled and Beth could see she was trying to not be emotional. Beth hugged her and kissed her cheek. "Thank you for bring Daryl into this world."

"You are welcome darling" Sarah said hugging her back. After a minute Sarah pulled away and wiped her eyes. "Let's get you ready"

A few hours later Daryl was standing in the middle of the living room with Merle. He was a total mess.

"Calm down you idiot" Merle said.

"I'm trying" Daryl said as they heard a door open down the hall. Sarah appeared first in a nice long maroon dress, she came over to Daryl and kissed his cheek before standing beside him. Daryl's breath was taken from his body when Beth appeared in his mother's wedding dress, she smiled at him as she walked closer. When she stood in front of him Daryl let out a breath.

"I'm not a romantic person so I won't go into what love is and all that nonsense but I will tell you this, I have never seen a couple more right for each other then you two." Merle said. "If you have vows you can say them now." Beth stared at Daryl for a second before speaking.

"Before I met you I was living a lonely existence, I felt like I was missing something then when I woke up in a strange bed and you walked in, it hit me that it was you that I was missing. You were the person that brought me back to life and I want to thank you for that. This experience has been the best thing that's ever happened to me and I hope it never ends." Beth wiped tears away from her eyes before looking at Daryl who looked like he was about to cry.

"When I was a eighteen, I watched a couple walk down the street holding hands and laughing and I thought I'd never have that, that was until I was walking out of a chinese restaurant and bumped into a beautiful blonde girl. You took my heart the minute you looked up and I hope you never give my heart back. I hope that sometime in the future our kids will find someone that takes their breath away like you do me, I will love you till my dying breath." He said.

"Do you Beth Greene take Daryl Dixon to be your lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold for better or worse, for richer or for poorer in sickness and in health, till death do you part?" Merle said.

"I do" Beth said smiling as she slipped the ring on his ring finger.

"And do you Daryl Dixon take Beth Greene to be your lawful wedded wife to have and to hold for better or worse, for richer or for poorer in sickness and in health, till death do you part?"

"I do" Daryl said slipping a ring on her ring finger.

"By the authority vested in me by the get ordained in five minutes dot com I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." Merle said as the others laughed. Daryl cupped Beth's face and kissed her. Beth laughed against his lip then kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck. They were finally married and they were finally happy.
