Make It Right

I have been up in my room ever since my fight with Matthew. It felt like the world has crumbled down around me. I knew I had to make things right with him before he left for LA. There was a Magcon meet and greet on Friday and it cost $100 to go. Today is Wednesday. That gives me pretty much just one full day to raise up $50 to my other $50 that I have.

"I can do this. I just need to ask to work extra shifts." I thought to myself. So that's exactly what I did. I called the place where I work (Hottopic) and they agreed to give me 2 extra shifts. That means I will literally be working all day tomorrow. With a sigh I walked over to the nightstand beside my bed and grabbed my phone. I must've called and texted Matthew so many times, but there were never any replies. Without hope that he would answer, I called him again.

"Hello.." he answered.

"You actually picked up."

"I just wanted to see why you felt the need to call so many times."

"I wanted to say that I am so sorry for not telling you that I am a fan. I didn't want to freak you out. I just wanted us to have a good time, and we did. I'm so sorry."

"I'm not mad because you're a fan, I'm mad because you practically tricked me during our whole afternoon together. I bet all the personal stuff I told you about myself you already knew."

"well.. i.. uh.. kinda.."

"bye.."

Then he hung up. I stared at my phone for what felt like forever. I didn't feel so sad for having to work all day tomorrow, because this situation seriously needed to be fixed, and soon. I need my hero.
