My Hero

Well. Today is Friday. I am exhausted. The only thing that got me out of bed today was the fact that at 2:30 I can go to the meet and greet and make things right with Matt. It's 2:00 right now which means I should probably get going. I hop into my car and I'm on my way. I pull up to the hotel where they are hosting the meet and greet, which is when I feel the enormous rush of butterflies enter my stomach. I force myself to push the nervousness away and I walk right into the eye of the storm. There are SO many fan girls screaming that I can't even hear myself think. I try to push around them to the front, but end up getting stuck in the middle of the line. 2:15 and the butterflies have gotten worse. 2:25 and I feel like I'm going to throw up. Finally it's 2:30. The line moves at a snail pace. Eventually I get to a spot where I have a view of the boys. They look amazing. Especially Matt. I take a deep breath and walk up to the booth where they are signing things from papers to body parts. I go from boy to boy getting autographs and talking to them. Finally I reach Matt. I take a deep breath.

"Hi.." he says looking a little confused.

"hi. I saved up enough money to come to this so we can straighten things out. Please?"

He turns to the crowd and says "I'm going to take a little break everyone! I'll be back soon!" Then he turns to me and says "come on." He then leads me to a quiet area away from everyone.

"Look.. I'm really so-" I start to apologize

"Stop apologizing. I don't know what it is about you, but I can't quit thinking about you. I'm sorry for over reacting."

"You didn't over react, I shouldn't have kept it from you."

"Let's just put it behind us," he suggests as he kisses me. Then we walk hand in hand back to the booth. He let me sit beside him behind the booth. I have to admit, I did enjoy the jealous looks I got, especially when he kissed my cheek. I finally got my hero. But I didn't realize how hard dating your hero is.
