13. Pushing Her Away

Lilly's POV

We have watched about three movies and it is now like 3 in the morning. We are all laughing and joking around but Morgan seems to be a bit quite.

She is laughing and seems to be having fun but I know there is something bothering her. I just don't know what.

I don't know if I should say it to her and find out or if that would be stepping a line. I might just Sheldon Cooper it cause he doesn't understand boundaries.

Yep, screw it! Worse thing to happen is for her to shout at me again. I really don't think she would hit me or anything.

I just have to wait till she leaves for the kitchen or something. Then I can talk to her privately. I just hope she actually talks to me and not just shut me out.

That's when I noticed Morgan going off in the direction of her bedroom. This is my chance to talk to her. I got up off my seat and walked after Morgan. I noticed Hayley watching me as I left.

I got to Morgan's door. I knocked and said "Morgan, it's me. Can I come in?" through the door. Before I knew it the door was swung open and Morgan was standing there with just a sports bra and shorts.

I looked her up and down and let's just say ... WOW! You could even see the out line of her six pack. All I wanted to do is touch her. Yep getting weird again. "Lilly, what do you want?" I heard Morgan ask me, while not being phased by my staring.

It took all my strength to tear my eyes away from her body and bring them to her eyes. "I was wondering if you where okay? It's just you don't seem your self" I said while I felt my cheeks going red.

"I am fine. You don't need to be checking up on me you're not my girlfriend!" Morgan snapped. Okay, ouch. That was a bit harsh and kinda hurt a bit.

I went speechless and Morgan just stared at me. I just did not know what to say to that. What do you say to that without shouting back?

Morgan went back into her room and started going through her drawer. I took me a second to snap back after her outburst.

"Something is obviously bothering you cause you just don't snap at people like that!" I said sternly back to her. With that Morgan slammed her drawer and shouted "What do you want me to say, Lilly? Do you want to know how the 'Great Morgan Blake' came to be? Do you want to know about all the shit and hell I went through?".

Morgan is just starting to lose it. I don't know why she is acting this way? She was fine earlier, so what has happened between then and now? I can feel the tears in my eyes and I am trying my best to hold them back.

"About all the shit I have to deal with now? That's the only reason you hang around me is in it? You don't care about me! You just want to know what rumors are true!" she continues shouting.

"I stay around to get to know you cause I care about you" I said while full on crying. Where is this all coming from? Why is she saying all this? I am supporting my self with the wall behind me. With all this crying I am starting to find it hard to breath.

"Do not bullshit me!" she roared as she came right up to my face. "I'm not! I do care about you, Morgan. Why is it so hard for you to believe that?" I asked the best I could without crying.

"Enough!" she screamed while her fist went past my face and into the wall behind me. I just stood there shocked! I can't move a muscle. Morgan just stared at me with hard eyes and a blank expression.

"I'm ... I'm ... gonna ... go" I said between breaths and holding back the tears. I slowly stepped away from Morgan and headed to the door. Before I left I turn back around to see Morgan leaning her head against the wall.

With that, I turned around walked out of her room.

Morgan's POV

I can't believe I just did that! I just completely lost it and lashed out at Lilly. I sit on my bed and placed my head in my hands.

I hated the look she had on her face, she was so scared of me. But I don't blame her, I would be scared of me too. I have too many demons.

But now she will stay away from me at least and that means she won't get hurt. Even though I did just hurt her my self.

Within a week she will forget all about me and go back to how her life use to be. She does not need me in her life, I will only put her in danger. It is better this way sure it was only going to end in heartache one way or another.

That's when I hear a knock at my door. I looked up to see Jax, Chase and Scott standing there looking at me. You could tell that they did not really know what to do.

"Hayley brought Lilly to her place to spend the night" Scott said while walking into my room more. All I could do was stare at the floor, I could not even reply to him. They must all think that I am a complete bitch!

I could feel a dip in my bed then another. "Hey, you okay?" Jax asked softly from beside me. When I didn't answer Chase said "Princess?" with so much concern. "You really have to stop calling me that" I said back jokingly while being serious at the same time.

That's when Chase's arm went around my shoulder and he sweetly said "You know we are here for you". "We will always be here for you. If you want to talk about it we will listen" Jax said being all serious.

"I kinda wanna forget about it" I said while still staring at the floor. "Okay, how bout we just play some games then go to bed. But first we need to clean that hand of yours" Jax said sweetly while he held out his hand.

It was only then that I noticed that my hand was all cut and bleeding. And it was bleeding a good bit. It was starting to drip onto the floor.

I finally took my eyes from the ground and looked up to see the three guys waiting for me. I took Jax's hand and he helped me up.

Then Jax helped Chase sort out my bloodied hand. We then just played some games on the PS while playing some music. None of them asked about what happened between Lilly and I or how I was feeling.

Which I was glad about cause I really did not want to talk about it. We just played for two hours then went to bed. And all I could think about was the look of terror on Lilly's face. And that I am the reason for it.
