Morgan's POV
I woke up to something heavy on my body and something tangled in my legs. I opened my eyes and looked to find Lilly laying on top of me.
I smiled to myself as I stroked her hair. She looked so peaceful asleep. Speaking of sleep, that's the first time in months that I didn't have a nightmare. It was the best sleep I have ever had.
It feels good to not wake up dripping in sweat and shaking. That's when Lilly started to stir, she opened her eyes and I was greeted with a beautiful smile.
"Morning" she said sweetly as she nusled into my neck. "Morning to you too" I laughed as I hugged her. I kissed her on top of her head and I could feel her smiling against my skin.
"I am gonna go make breakfast" I said as I got out of the bed. "Any requests?" I asked as I threw on my hoodie. "Pancakes!" Lilly said like a five year old. I just laughed to myself while I shook my head.
I went to the kitchen to find that it was empty, everyone must be still asleep. I got out everything that I needed to make my famous pancakes. In the middle of mixing the stuff together I heard someone coming into the kitchen.
I look up to find Derek in his shorts, still half asleep and with messing hair. I just smirked and stared at him. "What?" he asked playing dumb as he tried not to smile.
"You couldn't resist, could you?" I more or less stated as I brought the mix over to the cooker. "Can you blame me?" he replies cockily with a smirk. I just shook my head and said "out of everyone, you had to sleep with Victoria!".
"She is not actually that bad, give her a chance" he says defending her, which I can't believe. He being serious right now? "That's a joke right?" I said while I turn to look at him. "No. Why cant you give her a chance?" he said and I noticed that he is getting slightly pissed off.
Why the hell is he getting pissy for? He only meet the tramp last night! "I don't trust her!" I yelled as I slammed my hand onto the kitchen counter. That's when I got a sharp pain in my hand. I lifted it up to find that I slammed it on a knife.
"Then why did you let her stay?" Derek askes with a stern tone. I looked at him, taking my attention away from my bleeding hand. "For Lilly!" I said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Derek just sighed and ran a hand through his hair. I went to the sink to wash the blood off my hand and to bandage it up. That's when it dawned on me, that maybe it wasn't their first time meeting last night.
Plus there is no other reason Derek would snap like that. "How long have you been seeing her?" I ask while I looked out the kitchen window.
"Not that long. But ..." Derek tried to finish. "But you are mad about her" I sighed as I turned around to look at him. He just starred at my with those big brown puppy dog eyes of his. "Sorry for snapping" I said as I looked back down at my hand.
Derek walked over towards me and finished bandaging my hand. "Me too" he sighed before he gave me a hug. I hate it when we argue. Even if it did last like a minute, I still don't like it.
Once we pulled a part I teased "So, you and Veronica". "Yea" Derek said with a shy voice while he scratched the back of his neck. He always does that when he feels embarrassed.
I couldn't help but laugh at Derek, who is now blushing. Who would thought it was so easy to get Derek all red? He must really like her.
"Hey, tell everyone that breakfast will be done soon" I ordered Derek as I started to cook the pancakes. "Sure" he smiled as he headed back down the hall.
