Morgan's POV
A set of bright lights came from my right. As I turned to see what it was, a jeep came racing towards us. It crashed right into us, flipping us several times.
While it flipped I could feel my body whacking off the car. Glass came flying straight at my face but I was frozen in place that I couldn't protect my face. I screamed at the top of my lungs, hoping it will make it stop.
It flipped one more time before it finally stopped moving. The car had landed upside down. The tears came rushing down my face as I cried my eyes out. My entire body hurt and I was terrified to move a muscle.
"Mom?" I called out hoping she will tell me everything will be okay. But she didn't answer me. It then dawned on me that I didn't even hear her scream, I didn't hear her make a sound.
That's when the tears started fall down my face more quickly. I closed my eyes and slowly turned my head in the direction of my Mom. I didn't want to open my eyes but I needed to know if she was okay.
I slowly started to open my eyes. My breathing started to get heavier when I finally opened my eyes fully. "No!" I screamed at the sight in front of me.
My Mom's once bright, lively blue eyes now dull, cold and lifeless starred at me. Blood streaming down half her face. She looked cold, that if I touch her she would shatter.
"Mom! Please say something! Mom!" I cried hoping that it was imagination getting the better of me. "Mom! Please! Please, don't leave me!" I begged while crying my eyes out.
I tried to get to her but I couldn't move. I was stuck and I couldn't do anything. "Mom!" I screamed at the top of my lungs hoping she would hear me.
"MOM!"
******
I jolt awake while grabbing the blanket that was covering me. My heart is racing and my breathing is heavy. My shirt is completely soaked from sweat. That's when my father came rushing down the stairs.
"You okay? I heard you screaming" he asked me with a paniced voice. "I was screaming?" I asked while I Iooked at him with a confused expression. I can finally breath normal and my heart is not racing as fast.
"Yeah, I thought you where in trouble or something" my father says with the same paniced voice. "Sorry. I just had a nightmare" I explained to my father.
"Really! You haven't screamed like that from a nightmare in months" my father said sounding concerned. "Yeah, which is really weird cause I don't even remember screaming" I said being completely honest.
That's when my father sat down on the couch beside me. "What else?" my father asks me in that fatherly voice. "What you mean what else?" I asked not sure what he is getting at.
"Morgan you have been stressed out lately. You think I didn't notice? I know something is up with you, something that makes you nervous. I know you won't talk to me about it.
But I want you to know that I am proud of you know matter what happens. And I know you will do the right thing. You mother would be so proud of you" he says with a proud smile.
He then got up to head back to his bed. "Thanks Dad" I said without looking at him and meaning it. "Night Morgo" He said before he went up the stairs.
I could feel a smile forming on my face and I didn't dare try to stop it. It might have just been a few words that he said but them words meant a whole lot to me.
Them few made feel like I can get through this whole mess that I got myself and everyone in. I just hope I can get us all out of it without anyone getting hurt.
