17. Hoodie

Morgan's POV

Once I left Lilly to talk to Hayley, I ran into Derek and the guys. "That was some show Princess" Chase said with a huge grin on his face.

I chuckled as I said "tell me about it". "So how is she?" Jax asked me with worry in his voice. "She will be fine sure she has Hayley" I said with a smirk.

"I guess you had something to do with that?" Derek said knowing the answer. "I don't know what you are talking about" I said while I shrugged my shoulders. Derek just laughed to himself and gave me a small smile.

With that we started to head to class. Before we walked in Scott grabbed my wrist and waited till the guys went in. I look at him with a confused look.

"Thanks, for what you did" he said with those big eyes of his. "I didn't do anything" I said with a small smile and Scott gave me a bigger one in return.

We both walked into class and took our seats at the back. I can see Lilly sitting beside Hayley laughing. I have to say it is a beautiful sight. To see Lilly smiling again and to see her in that hoodie.

I looked around the room and could see people looking at Lilly wearing my hoodie. I dunno why but I could not help the small smirk forming on my face.

That's when Victoria walked in, she took one look at Lilly. Her eyes went wide as she noticed my hoodie, then her eyes landed on me. I just stared back at her with a hard look and a cocky smirk on my face.

She then looked away just as quick. She put her head down and went to a seat. I don't think she was to impressed by that. And I don't care! I doubt she will go near Lilly now.

That's when I noticed a certain blonde looking at me. I gave her a flirty wink and I was rewarded with a beautiful smile.

That's when Derek snapped me out of my thoughts "I see you two are getting along again". "You could say that" I said with a small smirk.

"I am guessing you had a talk with her then" he asked now gettin a bit curious. "Yea, I explained why I did what I did. I also told her that once she knows about my past that's it her decision" I said as I stared at the bord at the top of the class.

The only thing is that my past is a dark road to go down. I would rather fight a ten foot monster then go back down memory lane.

But if I want things to work out between Lilly and I. She needs to know what she is getting into and with who. 

The rest of my classes flew by in no time. Coach had training after school today. I was ready to start when I noticed a certain jackass walking through the door.

Jake has not been back training since I beated the shit out of him. To be honest I have not seen him around at all. He kinda just disappeared without a word.

That's when Jake looks in my direction. I noticed that he had a fresh bruise on his eye and a busted lip. And no that was not me! I swear!

I caught his eye and he kept looking at me while he walked. But something was a bit off. He had sadness, guilt and pity within his eyes. Most of all they where directed at me.

I dunno what it was, but I just got this strange feeling to be careful. To watch my back. I don't like the feeling one bit. It kinda makes me nervous, and it is never good when I get nervous.

That's when Jax snapped me out of my thoughts by asking "Is it just me or is there something off about Jake?". "I get that vibe too" Scott said a tad bit nervous.

But this just makes me more on edge. "What is his deal?" Derek ask while seeing Jake for the first time. "Where do I start?" Chase said while keeping his eye on Jake. "For one thing he is not a fan of Princess" Chase continued as he faces Derek.
