Chapter 19

-Madison's point of view-

It was Thursday morning and I was not excited for school. surprise? no? I know. My only motivation to get up from my cozy, warm bed this day was the fact that I was one day closer to the date. Words couldn't describe how excited I was. My only issue right now was finding an outfit. Ryan refused to tell me where we were going so I had to choose something I thought would be appropriate for basically everything, which is impossible for someone like me. I like to have things under control, that's normal, right?

I tried to think of something else while getting ready for school. I put on my favorite pair of black high waist skinny jeans and a pink shirt and walked downstairs. My mom and dad was in the middle of a conversation as I entered the kitchen. I grabbed some cereal and milk and poured it into a bowl and started eating.

"Good morning, honey." my mom said, smiling at me.

"Morning" I said, smiling back.

"Do you have any plans today?" It was dads turn to speak.

"Yeah, I was actually wondering if it's okay if Chloe and Jenna could eat dinner here today? I need help with something important and it would be easier if they just came here after school."

They quickly looked at each other and nodded.

"I guess that's okay, but remember that Alex is coming home for a few days tomorrow."

It felt like my heart fell to my stomach. I totally forgot about that!

"You're gonna be here, right?" mom looked at me. She knew something was wrong.

I looked down, i didn't want to meet her gaze.

"I have some very important plans tomorrow, i can't cancel them.."

"Are you sure? Alex is really excited to see you, i thought you wanted to be home when he gets here?" My mom looked disappointed, and i couldn't blame her.

"I know, i'm sorry. But you always say it's important to keep your promises, right? I promised i was free on friday, but i'll be home the rest of the weekend, okay?"

She nodded in approval and i smiled thankfully at her.

"So, can you tell us what these really important plans are?" It was my dads turn to speak.

I couldn't actually tell them about the date, so i had to make up something believable fast.

"Me, Chloe and Jenna are going to this big school event tomorrow, that's why they need to get here after school, we have a lot to do before it begins." I tried to sound as convincing as possible, and thankfully, they bought it.

I couldn't help but feel a little bit bad for ditching my own brother, but oh well, he'll survive. He's probably gonna be with Jenna anyways.

School was boring as usual, the only thing that made it better was seeing Ryan, meeting up with my friends and the amazing surprise during lunch; pizza aka pure happiness.

I was about to exit the school when Ryan suddenly came up to me in the hallway. He looked gorgeous as usual, damn him. What did i do to deserve such a beautiful human being? He grabbed my hand and pulled me into an empty classroom.

"I've been wanting to do this all day.."

He pushed me into the door the second it closed, and kissed me. My knees got weak and i felt like i was on another planet. The way his lips felt on mine, how he cupped my face with his soft, soft hands and how close our bodies were.. it was an indescribable feeling. I would never get tired of it, ever! He ended the kiss and just stared at me for a few seconds.

"You're so fucking beautiful, you know that, right?" He stared at me, it felt like his eyes stared straight into my soul. My cheeks turned bright red, he just laughed and kissed me one more time.

"Adorable. See you tomorrow, babe." He winked at me and left the room before i could say anything. What the hell just happened?

"OMG, you need to wear this Maddy! it's perfect!" Chloe held up one of my favorite dresses. A black strapless dress with gold details.

"It would've been perfect for a date at a restaurant, yes, but i don't know if that's what we're actually doing!"

"What about this?" She pulled out a long black and white striped jumpsuit i forgot i even had. That could work.

"It's amazing, you need to wear it!" Chloe looked so excited.

"I agree, and here, use these heels as well, you're gonna look stunning!"

We tried to figure out what to do with my hair when i got a text from the one and only; Ryan.

Hi babe. Just wanted to let you know that you need to wear a pair of good shoes tomorrow. We have to walk for a bit to get to the actual date. See you tomorrow, sexy;)

This boy sure knew how to make me blush..

"okay, no high heels then?" Jenna brought me back to reality.

"I guess not, but i still wanna wear the jumpsuit. It's not too dressed up, right?" I looked at them and they both said no.

We found a pair of white sneakers that fit perfectly to the jumpsuit and planned out everything else before they left a couple of hours later.
