The Bad Boy's Princess

Chapter 9

-Madison's point of view-

I walked upstairs to my room and sat down on my bed. I was tired after walking home, and i really wanted to take a nap before my parents got home from the grocery-store.

I was just about to lay down when my phone started ringing. It was Chloe.

"Hi Chloe, what's up?"

"Maddy, please tell me you're not busy!"

I frowned. "Uhm, well, i'm not busy, i was just about to take a nap, what did you have in mind?"

"Thank god! There's a big bonfire on the beach tonight and i really wanna go, but Theo is busy and he won't let me go by myself and Jenna won't answer her phone, so please, join me?"

"But we have school tomorrow! I can't stay up late!" I tried to make exuses, but i knew they wouldn't help.

"Don't even try that bullshit, i know you always stay up late and watch series. And guess what? Ryan's gonna be there!"

"Oh well that's just a better exuse NOT to go."

"But Madison, i really, really, really wanna go! Pretty please! I'll pay you!"
I knew she was joking, but i also knew she really wanted to go, so i did what i had to do.

I hung up.

Just kidding, i agreed to go.

2 hours later i was ready to go. Chloe was supposed to pick me up now, so i was just waiting for her to arrive.
I didn't want to look overly dressed up, so i had just put on my favorite pair of black jeans, a white long-sleeve sweater and my black vans. My hair was in a loose ponytail and my makeup was just normal, every-day makeup.

Chloe arrived a few minutes after i got outside and before i knew it, we were at the beach with what seemed to be the entire town.

"So, what's the reason why you wanted to be here?" I asked, curious to find out the real reason. I knew she wasn't here to see the bonfire, and i also knew she wasn't here to meet some other guy. Chloe and Theo would never, ever, cheat on each other, i just knew that.

She looked down, ignoring my question.

"Hello? I'm talking to you?"

She stopped and looked at me.

"Please don't judge me, okay?"

I rolled my eyes. "Why would i judge you? I already know you're weird!"

She hit my arm hard. "That was mean, i'm just here to buy the popcorn i like, you remember? The one with butter and caramel. It's soooo good and they only sell it during this bonfire thing!"

"Oh, yeah right, that's true" i laughed and she joined a few seconds later.

We got to the popcorn-shop thing and she was just about to pay for her precious popcorn when someone put their arm around my shoulder. I didn't even have to turn around to know who it was.

"What do you want, Ryan?" I brushed his arm off of me and turned around to face his beautiful face.

I obviously meant ugly face.

No you didn't.

Yes I did!

No, you didn't!

Okay, i really need to stop arguing with myself inside my head.

"I was just about to buy something and then i saw this nice ass and i instantly knew it was yours. Are you stalking me or are we just meant to be?"

Is this guy high?

"I think you should go back to your friends now, you're getting really annoying."

He gave me a fake hurt expression.
"Wow, that was so mean! I just wanted to say hi and then you give me this attitude? You need to get punished, young lady!"

Okay, that's enough. This is way to awkward to handle. I grabbed Chloes arm and dragged her with me, away from the creep aka Ryan.

"What the hell, Maddy? I was just about to pay for my popcorn!" She looked so freaking mad.

"Well sorry, i met Ryan and he was like a 1000 times more annoying than he usually is, i had to run!"

She rolled her eyes at me.

"Well, just stay here and let me go back to pay for my popcorn."

I sat down on a bench a bit further away from the small beach shops and pulled up my phone from my pocket.

I was just in the middle of a game when someone sat down beside me. I prayed to the lord that it wouldn't be Ryan. I turned around and surprisingly, it wasn't.

"Chris?"

"Hi Madison, why are you sitting here all alone?" He asked, looking surprised.

"I'm waiting for my friend. She's buying some stupid popcorn over there but Ryan showed up and freaked me out so i ran away and sat down here."

He started laughing. I wanted to hit him, but instead i just showed him my middle finger.

"Aw, don't be mad. Ryan is just a bit drunk and you should know by now that he gets really weird after a bit too much alcohol."

I guess he was right.

Just as Chloe finally got to pay for her popcorn, the devil himself showed up, again.

"Christian! What the fuck are you doing? Are you trying to hit on my girl?"

I tried to ignore the butterflies that went crazy in my stomach, but it was too hard. Oh how i hate the way he makes me feel.

"I'm not trying to hit on anyone. She just told me about how creepy you are, that's it dude."

He looked at Chris, then at me, then back at Chris.

"I thought you were my best friend, Christian. I'm really, really disappointed."

Christian started laughing, and i tried to keep a straight face but it was impossible when Ryan looked at Chris like he did.

"Okay, i hope you guys can fix things between you, i gotta go now, bye!"

I ran over to where Chloe was and dragged her towards her car before we got stopped by anyone we knew.

Okay, i'm back! (Again)
I know this chapter is crap but i just wanted to write something and get this story going again! Thank you to everyone for voting and commenting while i was gone, i really do appreciate it! :)
