Chapter 8

-Madison's point of view-

I got out of school as fast as i could, trying not to miss the bus. I had this bad habit where I stood by my locker a bit too long, trying to remember what books I needed, and then end up missing the bus.

Please God, tell me the bus is still here!

I walked around the corner.

Yes! It's still here!

I walked towards the bus with a big, proud smile on my face.

Never mind.

The bus freaking left me when I was right beside it.

Fuck you, stupid ass bus.

I let out a loud sight, knowing that I was the only one around.

Guess I have to walk home then..

I heard a car honking beside me.

Is this my hero rescuing me from the long walk home?

I turned around, expecting to see some sort of Greek God with his hands held out for me to jump into.

I was wrong, again.

It was Ryan.

Oh, well. I don't mind him driving me home.

A smile was once again plastered on my face.

And then, just when I was about to walk towards his car, he drove off, sending me a blow kiss and started laughing with his friends.

My smile faded, and I was left alone again.

Stupid Ryan.

After about 5 minutes of walking, I remembered that I had my earplugs in my bag. I could listen to music! Everything gets better with music!

My favorite song, Firestone by Kygo, started playing and I got in a better mood in just a few seconds.

After a few more songs, I finally saw my house in the distance.

I got inside and immediately noticed the quietness in the house. It didn't use to be this quiet when I got home! My mom would usually make dinner at this time, my dad would sit in the living room with the tv on, and my brother, Alex, would be in his room, playing videogames or something.

"Hello?"

No answer.

Oh well, I should call my mom.

I dialed her number on my phone and waited for her to answer.

"Hi Madison, how are you?" My mom answered after four beeps.

"Hi mom, I'm fine. Just got home from school. Where are you guys?" I kicked off my shoes and walked inside to the living room while waiting for her answer.

"We're just out to get some groceries and something for Alex. You remember he's leaving tomorrow morning, right?"

Oh my God, I forgot about that!

I felt my eyes getting watery. Why did he have to leave?

"oh.. I forgot about that. Where is he now?" I tried to sound normal, but I felt my voice getting weaker at the end of the sentence.

"He should be home by now. Go check in his roo-"

The front door closed and I was just about to say hi to Alex, but when I turned around I got really confused. No one was there?

"I gotta go, mom. See you later, bye!"

Okay, that was kinda rude, but I had to check if Alex just left the house or something.

I opened the door. Nope, he didn't leave the house.

Who the hell opened my door then?

-Jenna's point of view-

That was way to close!

I could still feel my heart beat against my chest. I felt like a total jackass. How could I do this behind my best friends back?

Oh, you know why Jenna! You freaking love this guy!

I sighted. Why did I have to fall in love with my best friends brother?

And why did he have to leave just when our relationship was at it's best?

I wanted to cry.

Don't cry, Jenna. Don't be weak! Alex wanted you to stay happy.

I tried to control my breathing, as It got really crazy after everything that just happened.

I actually sneaked out of Madison's house when she stood only a few meters away from me. I knew she heard the door close and I had to run around the house and into the garden so she wouldn't see me.

Wow, I'm such a bitch.

I need to explain everything for her.

She'll understand, right?

Right?

New chapter, yay! I don't know what P.O.V. you enjoy the most, but i usually won't be writing from others than Madison's or Ryan's. 

Anyways, i hope you'll like this chapter, and i'm sorry for any mistakes or anything. 

PS. Just to make this clear, Ryan's character is "played" by Dave Franco, the super hot actor, but i have no idea what i want Madison to look like. I mean, i imagine her, but i don't know any celebrities who fits the image i have in my head. So idk. If you have any suggestions, let me know :)
