- Madison's point of view -
I took one final look at my self in the mirror, making sure everything was in place. I admired my hair and makeup one last time, while making a mental note to thank Chloe and Jenna for helping me out. I put on my white shoes and grabbed my purse. It was a beautiful afternoon, so a jacket wasn't necessary. I grabbed my phone to check the time, and to see if Ryan had texted me like he said he would. Just as i unlocked my phone a new text popped up. But it wasn't from Ryan.
Hey Maddy, There's been a slight change of plans. I'm picking you up instead. Be ready in 2! -Chris
His text instantly gave me a bad feeling, as if something was very wrong. I didn't think Ryan would send out someone else to pick me up without a reason. I was starting to freak out. What if he regretted asking me out? or maybe something happened to him? or what if h.... my inner thoughts was brought to a stop when i heard a loud honk. I looked out the window on the front door, and i spotted Christian's car. I walked out and Christian smiled at me. I smiled back and opened the door to the passenger seat.
"wow, you look great Maddy! Ryan is gonna pass out when he sees you."
I flashed him a big smile and thanked him. His comment sure made me feel a little less nervous.
"So, why isn't Ryan picking me up? did something happen?"
I noticed how his hands tightened around the steering wheel and his expression got a lot more serious.
"His car got stolen earlier today and his parents aren't home so he couldn't use their car. That's why he asked me to pick you up instead." He sent me a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. He looked mad.
"How the hell did it get stolen? doesn't he have a brand new car? Aren't they pretty much impossible to steal unless you have the key?" I asked, getting more and more confused.
"Well, your dumbass date left his keys in the car while he was getting some stuff at the mall, and now me and the guys have to go look for it." he looked annoyed, but it was a friendly annoyance, like when you have a younger sibling that your parents force you to bring with you everywhere even though you don't want to.
"He's lucky to have such amazing friends though."
"We're your friends too, you know? But yeah i agree, we're amazing." He winked at me and i laughed.
The rest of the car ride was quiet, and i was starting to feel really nervous and also very excited. I had no idea where we were going, so when he finally pulled over, i got a bit surprised. We were outside of Ryan's house.
"We're here! Have fun, don't do anything too stupid, okay?" Christian smiled at me and gave me a friendly hug, he really was a great guy. I got out of the car and started walking towards the house, but Christian interrupted me. "I forgot to tell you to go around the house, don't walk in the front door. Oh, and use protection! Bye!" and then he drove off.
- Ryan's point of view -
I was walking back and forth in my backyard, patiently waiting for Madison to arrive. I was feeling a bit nervous, even though i had everything planned out to perfection. I wanted this date to be amazing. I wanted to show her i wasn't a heartless douchebag. At the same time i was doing everything i could to try and not think about the stupid car incident. My own stupidness pissed me off, but i had to stop thinking about it for now.
A few more minutes passed until i finally heard a car engine. I heard the door close and a short while after, i heard footsteps getting closer and closer, and before i knew it, Madison was standing right in front of me. She was so insanely sexy, and so so beautiful. I took a few steps closer to her.
"Holy shit. You look amazing." I flashed her a smile. Her long hair looked so soft, i almost reached out to touch it but backed out. Don't let her think you're a freak!
It was probably too late for that...
«You look great too» she said, taking a few more steps towards me. I quickly looked at my outfit to make sure. Black jeans and a white shirt that made my muscles look good. «We match!» she suddenly said, and i looked at her outfit and sure, we did match... Not that black and white is a rare combination.. but i wasn't going to say that because she looked so cute and i didn't want to begin our date with a dumb comment.
I held out my hand for her to take, and we started walking towards the tiny forest behind my house.
«I didn't even notice this the last time i was at your house!» She said, obviously impressed by my «backyard». I didn't go here often anymore, but i thought it would be a nice way to start what i hoped would be a perfect date.
We walked into the forest and followed the trail. It was something about nature that made me feel relaxed. It made me forget all about the nerves i had before the date, and it also made me forget about the stupid car situa....
«So, Christian told me your car got stolen?»
Thanks for that, maddy.
What could i say? I was annoyed, obviosly. And scared someone would crash it. And a little sad cuz i just got it back from the shops after the new paintjob. And i was also freaking out on the inside because i knew my dad would get furious if i told him the car got stolen. I know, badboys aren't supposed to be scared of anything, but when my dad gets mad, he's really scary.
I suddenly realised madison stopped walking. I looked at her. She was looking at me.
«Are you okay?» she asked, looking worried.
«yeah i'm fine, just a bit annoyed about the car thing i guess. But let's not talk about that. There's a reason why i wanted to take you here today.» i pulled her hand, making her walk next to me.
We finally reached my destination and i looked at her for a reaction.
- Madison's point of view-
«Oh my god, this is insane!»
I was stunned by the amazing view in front of me. There was a tiny lake with the bluest, most mesmerizing water i'd ever seen. The trees surrounding it was huge and bright green, almost acting like a fence. There was a small circle of rocks with a little bonfire in the middle and a hammock hanging from two of the trees closest to the water. I was completely in awe.
«How do you not stay here all day long?» was all i could say. Thats what i would do!
«Because i need an education, dummy. I might have a pretty face and an amazing body, but i need a functioning brain aswell.» he answered, the cocky attitude is back, i see.
I decided not to care. «You could try modeling, you would do amazing. You definitely have the looks for it, all the girls at school wants you.»
He looked at me for a second. It didn't look like he was expecting a nice comment in return.
«Too bad for them, cuz all I want, is you.»
Then he closed the small gap between us and pulled me into a kiss.
