You Really Like The Beach

 You wake up to notice that the majority of your cabin mates are gone. By the majority you mean two, Karkat and Dave. John was still asleep. You get up rubbing you eyes due to the amount of light flooding in from the window. You see a note  taped the pillar on your bed.

 'Hey (Y/N), me, Jake, Karkat, Dirk, Rose, Roxy, Jane, and like all of us are going into town, we will be gone for like a few days. Jake didn't buy enough food but there should be enough for you and john, I think.'

This is great! You thought to yourself. You could really use some time alone the beach. You love the beach.

 The letter looked as if it was written with haste, but there is no time to worry about that know, you should wake John. You stand on the tip of your toes and peer over wooden barrier of Johns bunk. Next to the mattress was wooden ledge that went out about an inch and a half. His glasses and a few other miscellaneous items were places there. You looked up at johns resting face, his eyes twitched a bit possibly due to you sudden movements. You shook Johns arm for like ten fucking minutes before he woke up. Like holy shit John you should see a fucking doctor. Jeez he finally woke up.

 "Hmm what? (Y/N) what the fuck are... are you doing?" John is still three quarters asleep.  After two seconds or so his eyes shoot open. "Holy shit (Y/N)!" John was noticeably blushing as he says this. You look at him for a moment before explaining the fact that you two are basically the only ones here and there is limited food.

"Hey uhh (Y/N), would you wanna like go on a walk or something? Just around the beach?" John asked you, he looked nervous but you accepted.

Hours had gone by of the two of you laughing and talking, the sun was setting and the air was refreshingly cold. "Hey, (Y/N) I uhhh, need to tell you something." John looked as if he was shaking whilst he said that. You replied with a simple nod. "(Y/N), I like you, alot.". It seemed as if he had more to say but didn't, you blushed and looked into his pretty blue eyes. The few seconds felt like years before he snapped you out of trance with a quick kiss on the cheek.

(A/N) Sorry for the short chapter, but there will more chapter with just the John and the reader in the future! Also if there are any mistakes in the chapter (Grammar, Spelling etc.) it is because I had to edit this myself, instead of have Munchy do it.
