You were awaken in the middle of the night. Dave was leaning above you smiling.
"Sup" Dave was an inch away from your face, you sat there for a moment. You were still half asleep, but the moment your brain caught up you smiled awkwardly and move away from his face.
"Hey Dave...."
Hours had passed since everyone was helping Jake and Dirk load food from the car into the fridge and/or freezer. After you grabbed a bag of grocery's you saw a shit ton of fireworks in the car.
"Jake! You didn't tell me you guys got fireworks!" To say the least, you were excited.
"Oh, Sorry (Y/N) I never knew ya liked fireworks so much..." Jake admitted.
After unpacking all the food you, Dave, John, and Dirk, went right to the fireworks. The sun was already setting, so you all just fucked around with firecrackers and sparklers to kill the time. Gamzee? You think his name was, found a grill in the storage house. Jane started cooking burgers and such, and also preparing salad and other side dishes. Dave and John kept chasing each other around with sparklers as if they were small children.
It had finally gotten dark, and you had to honors of setting off the first 'cool' firework. Dave walked over to you and gave you this really cool lighter. You walked over to the launcher? Yea let's just call it that. The long fuse hung out the top, you lit the lighter and moved the flame twords the end of the long fuse. The fuse sparked and you ran back to the somewhat large group of friends and turned around. A loud 'Boom' erupted and soon a large ball of blue, purple, and red, was beaming down on us. Everyone clapped and then you all started doing your own thing.
Not even 30 minutes later.
"GUYS I'M GONNA BLOW UP THIS OLD TOILET" Dirk screamed, gaining stares that could only say 'what the fuck'.
You ran to the area of toilet blowing upping. Dave, John, karkat, and Jake, were already there. Dirk used a canister of gasoline to make a trail leading a few feet away from the group before lighting it. A trail of fire let up the the toilet before, BOOM. You were not expecting it to be THAT loud, you knelled down and covered your ears. Dave came over to help comfort you.
"Hey (Y/N) are you okay?" Dave seemed concerned but you assured him that the noise just hurt your ears.
The entire night was spent lighting shit on fire and eating great food. To say the least, it was great to have everyone back.
