A/N: I’m really thrilled when my friends and their friends told me that they couldn’t wait for another chapter. When was the last update? October? So it’s been half a year now, huh. Sorry for waiting and I hope I could post at least two more chapters this week. I dedicate this chapter to Florence (again) because she’s the one who’s nagging me to post. I also dedicate this to the people who read this.

Chapter 6: The Play
-Josh’s POV-
“Michael!” I saw him in the corridors the next day.
“What do you want?” he said quietly. He’s angry.
“Let’s go to class together.”
He didn’t reply.
“Here’s your milk tea. I also got you a sandwich,” Daniel said. He’s suddenly beside Michael.
“Yeah. Thanks,” Michael said. He gave Daniel a half-hearted smile.
“Let’s go?” Daniel said suddenly half-kneeling on the ground.
“Okay.”
Michael rode on his back. What are they doing? Do they have to be this… Close? Why would Daniel carry Michael when Michael’s totally fine? Is this a dare or something?
Okay. So what? I don’t really care.
I went to the Theater Arts building for my next class. It’s kind of a special class actually. I also know that Daniel and Michael will go here. Michael and I have the same schedule. I think Daniel has almost the same.
“We’ll be having the play after a few weeks so we shouldn’t waste time. You will do the props and the backdrops today. Those who are interested in the roles could audition later at lunch and before dinner,” the director/teacher said.
Okay. So we’ll just paint and do such things.
“Colette. What are you doing with Oliver? Put him down. He can walk using his own two feet,” the teacher said.
Daniel looked kind of worried and hesitant. Now that’s what I was talking about. If they’ll just play around, they must not do it in classes.
“He sprained his ankle.”
Sprained his ankle? Wait. Michael sprained his ankle?
I walked to them.
“What happened?” the teacher and I both said.
“He fell down a tree. He forgot his key inside their dorm room and Josh was already asleep so he thought of climbing the tree.”
The teacher raised her eyebrows suspiciously. “And when did this happen?”
“Before the lights out,” Daniel lied.
“Get him to the infirmary then. Come back after that.”
“Okay.”

“Why didn’t you tell me that you sprained your ankle?” I asked Michael furiously when we had our vacant period.
He didn’t respond. I’m somehow afraid of this. He doesn’t only hate me. He loathes me and he’s the quiet type when angry.
