Fray looked at him a few minutes after the trespasser had left, wanting to break the silence he asked, “Are you going to tell me the rest of that story or not?”

Kazuki weakly grimaced, but nevertheless answered, “Of course, I said I would didn't I?”

-1 year 10 months ago-

Kazuki slid down the hallway, keeping his footsteps as light as possible. If his temporary freedom was only an accident, he could not let it go to waste. The sound of voices caused the hair on the back of his neck to stand up straight. But the voices remained far off, and he could not see their sources.

He stuck to the wall like a fly caught on a delicious snack. Only peeling himself off, to look ahead of the corner before turning.

The source of the talking got louder, and he could hear make out the words they were speaking in the room to his right. The door was closed, so as long as he didn't make any loud noises, they would not know he was there.

The one who spoke loudest, he recognized as his stepmother. The one who had originally locked him up in that cage of darkness. “Do I have any reason to answer you?”

The voice that replied was weak, but had a sturdy support of emotion behind it. “Of course you do. Your letting a male stay here with us. It's about time you actually tell us why. For god sakes he went outside earlier today. If we can't contain him. What if something happens?”

“Greer, You get so emotional in times like this. Your fist is even shaking. There is a reason for this, just give me a few seconds to explain. I'll tell you. But don't tell the others, I'm only telling you this because I trust you.”

The more emotional voice didn't reply and Kazuki could picture her silently nodding her head.

“That boy knows something, that I need to find out at all costs.”

Kazuki had suddenly found himself blessed with a little bit of value.

-Present time-

Zachariah continued on his talk with Ayla. Going into the deeper reasoning behind his Will theory.

However every time he mentioned the word money, the person sitting in the chair behind Ayla would drop their coffee or cause some other catastrophic event. Finally it annoyed the long red haired girl to the point where she stood up, standing next to Ayla and Zachariah's table mumbling something lightly under her breath.

“I'm sorry.” Zachariah nonchalantly replied. “But can you speak up.”

The girl kept her gaze down towards her feet, the tips of her ears burning a bright red, “Your wrong”

She was younger than Ayla, wearing khaki slacks and a black shirt. Her hair was well combed, while her fists were tightly clenched. “Your wrong,” she repeated, “Your wrong.”

Zachariah's smile faded, “May I inquire what I'm wrong about.”

The red headed girl took a small step back. Her voice going quiet again as she spoke.

Zachariah stood up in order to get closer, so he could hear the girl. She however gave a small 'eep' as he stood up. Taking a rather large step back.

Ayla noticed something was wrong, the girls fists were not shaking out of anger or else she would have stood her ground. But what was it from?

Zachariah followed taking another step forward.

A flying kick came unexpectedly hurtling from the girl, heading towards his face. He tried to dodge ducking under the girls blow. But the kick followed, sinking back towards his head. Something only a skilled fighter could do.

He woke up a few minutes later, laying in one of the corner booths, Ayla chuckling at him. “Wow, You're really good with women aren't you.”

“Don't give me that.” he sighed rubbing his head, “If its for business I'm normally really good with women. It's just that one is a bit tougher than most.”

“Right,” Ayla sarcastically agreed, “You are so good with women. That one is just an exception.”

He sat up moving his face close to Ayla's. His breath blowing slightly on her neck, “Did you get hurt?”

She couldn’t stop herself from blushing shoving the man away from her. “I'm fine.”

“That’s good, “ he said relieved, brushing her hands aside. “ I don't know what I would do if you got hurt.”

He showed an honestly worried expression. A small flicker of panic passing through as he thought of her in pain.

At this Ayla's face flushed harder, steam nearly coming out of her ears.

He finished off by hugging her gently, whispering into her ear. “Did I prove my point?”

She could only manage a light mumble, “Yes...”

He smiled childishly. “Now that’s settled. Time to figure something out.”

“...”

He looked out towards the direction of the park, “It seems I was wrong about something. I feel if I don't give my client the right information, that I'm guilty of something.”

“What do you mean, “ Ayla asked her strength slowly returning. Do you know that girl?”

“Of course I do.” Zachariah replied, “That was Kazuki's sister.”

“His what?”

“Sister.”

“...”

Zachariah's lopsided smile returned, “Oh didn't your boyfriend ever tell you he had a sister? Well not that it matters, siblings do not always come up as a conversation topic.”

He leaned his back against the wall. Slowly regaining his sense of equilibrium. “Since that sister of his said my information is wrong. I now know two things. One, I was wrong about something, though that is kinda obvious.”

“And two?” Ayla asked.

He gave one of his nonchalant replies,“They know who you are. I bet If Kazuki knew this he would stop ignoring you immediately. So its good news. Well not really, but you should treat as such. I don't think their the types to harm a fellow female anyway.”

Zachariah sat up heading to the exit of the cafe, a slight wobble still in his steps. “Be careful” He muttered shyly. Before exiting from sight, his cheeks slightly burned red from the winter sun and a sore head.

Ayla stood up, only to hear the sound of something crashing, and some angry shouts. She smiled. Picturing that business suit clad guy stumbling into a trash can, spilling its contents on himself and some other unlucky pedestrian. Her thoughts wouldn't have been far off from the truth either.
