"Prince Zuko welcome home," a man with a large belly and grey hair smiled warmly at the prince who had a cut on his cheek. He had the dragon hybrid scales and teeth but no wings where attached.
"What happen to your face?" He asked walking over.
"Water tribe," he said flatly as he hid his swords in the walls of his room.
"How many?" Iroh sighed.
"One, we where evenly matched," Zuko grumbled.
"Oh where you?" He chuckled.
"Yes. It was a water bender uncle." Zuko said short tempered.
Iroh simply chuckled.

Kataras povI swam into a large cave with lights hanging from the ceiling showing brightly in the room as i saw my father who was the chief of the southern water tribe, standing next to the northern water tribe chief and the generals and soldiers surrounding the large table with Sokka at my fathers right side.
"Katara you made it just in time," dad smiled at me.
"Women in our tribe do not fight," the northern chief raised an eye brow.
"Women are just as powerful, and my daughter is a great warrior," dad said calmly yet challengingly. I wanted to smirk at the chief but I knew better and swam next to Sokka.
"What took you so long?" Sokka whispered as the meeting started.
I hesitated before I told Sokka about the small battle with the dragon warrior. Zuko. How that he spared me, I don't know why, cause I didn't attack either afterwards, what is wrong with me?! He's the enemy! We are at war!!
"Lost track of time,"
Sokka nodded believing the lie but I kept my face straight as I felt guilt rise in me, why did I lie?! Could've set a trap for him if he ever came back...
I listened to the war meeting and gave my opinions here and there for strategies and my father took them into consideration and the northern chief seemed pleased with my intelligence. Sexist pig.
"You all are dismissed," my father said and smiled at me and my brother as he left.
"So you gonna go see which girlfriend?" I smirked at Sokka and he paused.
"W-what? What girlfriend?" He gulped.
"I know you like that human, yet yue seems like your type too," I crossed my arms.
"What about you and that badger mole? Haru? Or Aang," he smirked back at me.
"I don't like him like that!" I cried out with wide eyes.
"Plus I haven't seen haru in forever, probably doesn't remember me," I scoffed.
"Come on, toph and Aang are probably waiting for us up top," Sokka laughed and we swam to the surface and went to go find the beach of a large amount of land and saw a monk boy with brown feathery wings on his back as he was chatting with a blind girl with clawed feet and white stripes of a badger mole going down her arms.
"Toph! Aang!" I waved at them from the water.
"Hey sugar queen," toph smirked in my direction and Sokka and I swam to the shore and walked up as our tails dried and I now had a short skirt and Sokka had blue baggy shorts with a fabric covering the middle of his front and back.
"Hey Katara, hey Sokka," Aang smiled at us as we walked over.
"How was the war meeting?" He asked us.
"Boring like usual but the northern chief defiantly didn't like Katara there," Sokka laughed.
I giggled and chatted with my closest friends but couldn't help but look over the ocean, remembering what all happened today. A dragon soldier, or assassin, or even just a civilian from the Fire nation showed me mercy, he probably was a skilled fighter so solider or something, trained to kill people like me on the spot. Sure he attempted to in the beginning but why did he let me go?
And why didn't I stop him from leaving to attack right back?
