19-My Whore.

~Sol~

I lowered myself back into my chair behind my desk after leaving Caroline, completely, utterly satiated and trembling, in our bed. I grabbed my pen from the surface and to my utter inconvenience wrote my signature again. When I glanced up both men had their brows rose, a sure indication they had heard me pleasuring my fiance.

"What?" I asked, with the raise of my own brow. In other words...Dare, say something, fucker. No name cleared his throat and I shook my head before starting back up again. This day was not in my favor-the bell sounded again through the house.

Olivia looked across the room at me, completely horrified.

"What?" I asked her, clenching the sheets and drawing them closer to my chest. Had she just let herself in? Not that I cared but I highly doubted Sol wanted to be interrupted again today.

"You have cake in your hair." She finally replied. I brought one hand up to 'run' it through my curls and I in fact did. I looked around at our messy bed and blushed. Great...our sheets were stained...who even knew where the plates went. Good job, Sir...Oh, like you didn't condone it, you cake whore. And enjoyed every single moment of it. I was so appeased...our relationship never really had a dull moment. "Whatever, I do not even want to know...just take a shower. Remember we have that thing called school? I haven't heard from you in a week. Your lucky you have a best friend willing to gather all your missed studies-which is a lot by the way. Have fun with that." Liv said as I got up from the bed, giving no cares as I was naked and sticky from icing. I shot my "best friend"-who I was seriously pissed off at- a glare as I walked past her towards the bathroom.

"Yea a best friend who is about this close-" I held up my thumb and finger a centimeter apart for indication. "-to not being my best friend anymore." I threatened, disapearing into the bathroom. She knew exactly what I meant by that and I was not surprised when she came into the room after me. She didn't say anything until the shower was going and I was under the refreshigly hot water, rinsing the stickiness from my skin.

"I love you and I am sorry but he needed to know." Her half ass apology had me gritting my teeth and rolling my eyes.

"Oh please take the job of knowing what Sol needs...It's really easy. I promise." My words couldn't have come out more bitchy or sarcastic but when you tell your friend not to say something to someone and she goes and yaps her trap...it's reason enough to be a little pissed.

"Oh please, it's not even like that, Caroline. You don't agree with me? Every man should know if a woman is carrying his child." Annnd there it was. Olivia had no business telling Sol that I had been pregnant. Oh and her timing had been perfect...just when I was losing our little angel baby. I seriously had no desire to talk about this right now, much less think about it. I did that well enough on my own. When I didn't reply I heard her leave the bathroom and my mind had wondered back to the land of grievance. Great, now my chest my aching, feeling completely empty.

Olivia was wise to just leave. Give me some space from her because she knew I was angry...of course I wouldn't be forever. She was my best friend. And she was right...I needed to go to school.

To say Sol was happy about me leaving for school would have been a lie and a major understatement. 'Just come back to bed.' He had said, suggesting we just stay there all day but in the end we both knew we had to get back to our lives. For a few hours anyway. Sitting through class was a nightmare...the lecture had been trecherously long. Afterwards I went into the library to catch up on my missed assessments.

Only three down and several hours later, I packed up the thick stack of papers and left for home. Dusk was descending when I made it to the condo-which was eerily quiet and boring so I decided to do more school work.
