Prologue

Beth sighed as she parked her truck out front of her daddy's old home. She smiled, her long white blonde hair flowing behind her. Her dad past away a year ago, she went to the funeral and cried her little eyes out as she sung him his favorite song. She could remember him and her momma singing said song out on that front porch every day as momma did her laundry. She smiled some and turned to her right, sitting in her car seat was her baby girl Molly Ann, curly blonde hair and big blue eyes looking out the window as she bobbed her head to the music she played on the radio.

She smiled,"We're home sweetie."She spoke to her softly, her little girl looked over and smiled at her, all teeth like she did when she grinned.

"Otay mama."She was only three, her speech hasn't broke that baby talk as of yet but even if it didn't, she'd still love her little girl.

She got out of the truck, grabbing her bag from next to her and walked over to her other side. Pulling the door open and undoing her daughters car seat off and pulling her out.She giggled as she clutched her fox teddy that her sister gave to her when she was born. She closed the door shut and walked up the gravel walkway and onto the porch and opened the squeaky screen door and the wooden one, walking inside and looking around. It still looked the same as it did when she came down to visit. She felt a smile on her lips as she walked around the living room, looking at all the family pictures on the mantel and walls. It'll have to be fixed but it still felt like home.

She looked down at her daughter,"What you think?"

The little girl smiled her big smile and said,"Wuv it!"

Beth felt her heart fill with love as she felt like everything would be okay. It'll get better for her and her little girl. It's got to.

After an hour or so of getting their bags and things for her daughter, she brought out her babies toys and set them on the living room carpet as she worked. It helped that her little girl wasn't much work, she was able to find her old room and set up her babies things inside and put her suit cases away in her parents room. Once she was done she came back down and sat on the couch and watched her daughter. She finally was settled in and hoped that the days go by easily and happy. She then got up when she remembered to call Maggie. Picking up the phone from the kitchen and hearing the ringing from the other line as she watched her daughter from the entryway.

"Hello?"

She smiled,"Hey sis."

She heard a squeal from the other end and smiled,"Oh my god! How was the drive? Are you okay? How's Molly?"

Beth laughed,"Calm down, I'm fine and so is molly. The drive was slow but we got here on time."

She heard a snicker from the other end,"Yeah? That's good. How about me and Glenn come over and help out?"

Beth looked over at her baby and smiled,"Sure. I'd like the help. Molly's not trouble but I need someone to watch her while I put dad's things up in the attic and set up some furniture ya know?"

Maggie snorted from her side of the phone,"You need all the help you can get baby sister. Dad has a lot of things."

Beth smiled,"I know, so I'll see ya when you get here alright?"Maggie agreed and they hung up with goodbyes and I love you's.

She walked into the living room and bent down to her daughter."Molly, Auntie Maggie and Uncle Glenn will be here today. How would you like that?"

Molly looked up fast and smiled her big smile,"Yay!"It was enough to understand she liked the visit a lot.

She grinned,"Alright but until then, lets get you some lunch."Molly nodded and got up, toddling for the kitchen. Beth smiled as she watched her little girl walk her first steps in the house she grew up in. Now her baby will grow up here also.

She went into the kitchen and started making a bowl of fruit, fresh fruit except for melons since Molly was allergic to cantaloupe melons.Once done, she grabbed out some apple juice and set it all down on the wooden kitchen table. She grabbed up her daughter and set her in her high seat that was attached to a old wooden chair and set the food closer to her. She sat down and had fruit herself with juice as she watched her baby drink her juice from her sippy cup and munch on her favorite fruit. Today would be productive and would help her baby grow, something she wanted for her. She wanted her to grow up happy like she did. She's do anything for that little girl, her little Honey Bee.
