Woke up next to the Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes FF)

Bucky Barnes' point of view.

After getting off the phone with Logan he said that him and Xavier would be flying in on their jet, and that I should inform the people we were with about it. So I did, I told Steve who told Tony who had Friday approve of their landing.

Waiting in the room with Marina she was still asleep so I loosened her suit and saw some new scars, holding in my anger I stopped when I saw the newest ones fade into nothing but a pale line. Looks like her and Logan have the same healing ability, "Buck?" fixing the blanket over Marina I turned to the door.

"Hey Steve, what's up?" as he walked in his eyes landed on Marina. "Who is she to you really?" sitting on the edge of the bed I looked up at him, "Honestly?" I asked and he nodded while sitting in the chair next to the closet,

"She saved me, she gave me my life back. I'm about a much of Bucky Barnes as I'll ever be because of her." running his hand though his hair he sighed, "Then I'm happy for you." he said and stood up. Getting up as well he yanked me into a hug before Friday spoke through out the room.

"Captain Rogers, Mr. Barnes, your friends are here." Steve thanked the AI and we went to get the two guys. Finding them just as they came off the plane, I shook hands with Charles as usual and nodded in greeting to Logan who had a cigar in his mouth, if Marina were here she's take it from him and step on it,

"Charles Xavier, I'm sure you already know Captain America, or Steve Rogers, as I know him." the wheel chaired man nodded, "Yes, it is nice to finally meet the man behind the shield and this is one of my teachers from my school, Logan."

Steve smiled, "we already know each other." Steve said an Logan frowned, "we do?" I sighed, "Yeah it's one of the things your bound to remember give it time." I said and Logan nodded, "Mr. Xavier would you like to see the facility or go right to Ms. Marina's room?" nodding Charles wanted to meet Tony and thank him for his hospitality. "Logan if you want you can see her it might be best if you two wait for me there anyway." Logan raised his brow at Charles before huffing and looking to me to lead the way.

In Marina's room she lay in a magic induced coma, thanks to Miss. Wanda Maximoff, to keep her from killing us. "Why is she still asleep?" Logan asked, "Well, when we found her she was in the middle of shooting at us so to keep us from dying and us from hurting her to keep her from...you know killing us, one of the Avengers put her in a coma. Don't worry she isn't hurt or in pain just asleep." I said adding the last part when he jumped in slight anger.

"Mr. Barnes, Mr. Logan. Professor Xavier is looking for you." Friday said and we exited the room almost running into the seated professor who had Helen Cho with him, "Ah, boys there you are. Doctor Cho and I had just talked about how it would be best if she were moved to a place where she could be not only mentally cared for but physically as well." I looked at Logan and he nodded,

He was her blood relative he had final say. So I didn't argue, if it would help her then I was all for it. Going into the room I pulled back the sheets and picked her up. Logan wrapped her swinging arm around my shoulders and tucked the other over her stomach her hand resting against my chest.

Following Doctor Cho, she led us to the medical bay and gestured to a long gray examining bed and I laid her down, her hair flowing off the end of it, as Cho hooked her up to a heart monitor, but because it was impossible to hook up any IVs she had to just put three different types of monitors on her chest.

"You two should wait over there, we don't want to crowd her." Helen said and Logan and I stepped back behind a glass section off and watched as Charles wheeled up behind Marina and held his hands over her head letting his forehead skim her own, Helen watched the monitors and a smile would pull at her lips when thing beeped stronger and with much more ease.

Logan dozing off on his feet told me, he might have been awake longer than he was supposed to, so I sent him to the lounge to relax, get some shut eye or just to chat with whoever was there. Almost two hours later Xavier opened his eyes and looked at me giving me a small smile before rolling over to me, "She'll be fine and when she wakes...it will take time but I got out the programming, to be honest," he said and I worried.

"It would have taken less time, but I saw a second program, it was fairly recent about a year. But don't worry I got both and there is no way for HYDRA to redo any of it or put more because I set a barrier around her mind like I did with you." I smiled, "Thank you, for everything." he nodded, "With what I saw in the both of you, no one should have to suffer that, ever." shaking his hand he rolled back over to Helen and shook hands before rolling out.

Standing next to her as she lay there looking so relaxed and peaceful I couldn't help but smile. "That's a good look on you." turning to Steve, I nodded slightly. "Thanks. What's Logan doing?" I asked and he chuckled, "Talking with Wanda, seems she reminds him of someone back at the school he substitutes at." I nodded remembering the 17 year old girl, "Yeah her name's Rouge." Steve nodded.

"When is she going to wake up?" he asked changing the subject, "It's up to her, she was under a lot of strain before you found her, but whatever that Professor did seems to be helping so maybe a day minimum a week max." Doctor Cho said before leaving, "Steve I'm going to tell you this now, rather than later." I started and he looked at me confused by my tone.

"When she wakes up and is strong enough to move around, we've leaving." he frowned even more at me, "Why? I just got you back?" I chuckled, "Yeah but you don't need me anymore." smiling weakly he gripped my normal arm, "What are you talking about Buck, I'll always need you--" "Naw, you don't. Your not that scrawny kid from Brooklyn anymore. Your Captain Freaking America," I said holding his shoulder in return.

"Besides, she'll need me more, just as I'll need her. And on top of that we're still wanted by the government for all that shit we did for HYDRA." he looked to argue but I cut him off. "We still have a few days but I just wanted to warn you is all." I said not letting him argue with me, "Besides if you ever want to see me, we'll meet on our birthdays at the Captain America exhibit in the museum." he chuckled and nodded.

"If we have a few days, it will give me time to think of an argument to make you stay." I shrugged, "Maybe, and your still a punk." Steve chuckled, "Jerk."
