Marina got up from her bed and ran to her bedroom door, her hand poised to open it but she stopped. Many thoughts running through her mind as she debated whether to open it or not. Her fear of hurting Bucky being the most heartbreaking. "Marina!" He called again but she still didn't answer. Backing up from the sound of his approaching footsteps her bedroom door swung open and he stood there outlined by the light from her hallway.
"Bucky...?" She said softly somehow she still hoped it wasn't him, but it was confirmed when he didn't hesitate to rush to her and wrap his arms around her. His warm body and cool metal arm on her exposed back gave her chills but she refrained from shivering. "Oh thank god your okay." He mumbled into her hair, pulling back she held in a cringe as she didn't want to, "what are you doing here Bucky?" She asked coldly, he frowned as if her question was stupid, as if she wouldn't know why he was there.
"I'm here cause I need you, and I missed you. I wasn't going to spend another day without you so you can keep your arguments to yourself because I am not leaving or letting you go anywhere without me." Marina opened her mouth to speak but he stopped her with his mouth on hers. Groaning into his mouth she struggled a bit but her heart basically yelled at her brain telling it to shut the f*ck up. Almost collapsing into his arms she held onto his jacket, as his hands were softly but firmly holding her face. Pulling back for a breath he put kisses all over her face before pulling her into a hug. Unable to hold in her tears she sobbed against his chest.
He didn't mind and just let her cry as he held her and stroked her hair and rubbed her back, collecting herself she sniffled and asked him, "is anyone else here?" He shook his head "no the others had things to do and I have been spending most of my time looking for you." Chuckling slightly, she moved and sat on her bed and motioned for him to join her, without hesitation he stripped out of everything uncomfortable and almost jumped into the bed with her. She giggled at him and moved closer when he was comfortable. She tucked her head against his chest and relaxed into him. "I'm sorry I left." She said softly while tracing circles on his bare chest. "I understand why, but what I don't understand is why you didn't think we wouldn't have been able to deal with it together." Sighing she snuggled closer.
"People do crazy things when they're in love." Not arguing with her on that he rolled closer to her and relaxed for the first time in a long while, his entire being relaxed and soothed out as he was able to hold and feel her in his arms. "I love you, darlin'." He said into her hair, smiling into his chest she said it back, "I love you too."
