Third person's point of view.

Marina didn't know where she was when she opened her eyes. But she also didn't care, her mind felt lighter and freer than she could ever remember it being. "Oh, you're awake." Looking up at the person who spoke Marina frowned, "Charles?" Marina said looking to the wheel-chaired man, "good evening Marina. It's good to have you back." Marina slid off the table and tumbled to the floor as her legs weren't strong enough to hold her up, Charles rolled over to her and reached down for her and helped her up.

"Where are we? This isn't the manor." Charles nodded, "Your right it isn't it's the Avengers' new base, Barnes spent the last 9 months looking for you." Marina frowned, "Why? I told him to run? To keep him safe, why didn't he listen-" "Becuase he loves you and knows what happens to people under HYDRA's control. The first person he called to help him was Logan, who was there when he lost you the day you were taken." Marina frowned even more.

"Where are they?" she asked, standing up again this time her legs having more strength after Charles had rubbed the numbness out of them for her. "They are sitting in in the communal living room." Grabbing the zipper to her leather suit she took it off and tossed it onto a nearby chair and stripped out of the pants leaving her in under clothing that looked like workout clothing, pulling her boots back on she didn't tie them and just tucked the laces into the sides and had Charles lead the way out.

Along the way, a man in a long-sleeved polo and dress pants stepped out his skin was red and he had a sweet smile on his face as the pair moved by him, "Ah, Vision is everyone still in the sitting room?" Charles asked, the red skinned man -Vision- shook his head, "No, they are about to go into a meeting with the secretary of state General Ross, I had just finished informing Captain Rogers and Wanda." Vision said and Charles nodded, "Charles I want to see Logan." the bald man nodded and lead her on.

Finding Logan where he left him, Charles cleared his throat to get the man's attention. "Logan." She said and Logan turned, a cigar was held in between his teeth when he turned but he quickly put it out in the ashtray on the table before moving towards her. "Marina?" he asked to be sure because the last time he saw her; she tried to kill him. "It's me Logan." he frowned "What's my name?" smiling she took a step towards him, "James Howlett, or Creed if you want to get real technical." smiling he rushed to her and wrapped her in a hug.

He chuckled in her ear and she smiled into his smoke scented leather jacket. "I missed you, little brother," she said softly while rubbing his back to get him to set her down -she was shorter than him and when he straightened up while hugging her- and looked her over. "you have new scars?" she shrugged like it was no big deal, but it was to him. "What did they do?" her expression became sullen as she remembered how they had tried to break her but when they couldn't they just wiped her and started over.

"Conditioning and behavior reprograming along with interrogation." Logan frowned, "What were they interrogating you for?" she shook her head she didn't want to tell him he'd only worry more. "It's fine, just drop it." He opened his mouth to push the issue but her expression sharpened and he cringed a bit. "You two should head back to the school, there are people waiting for you there," Marina said cooly and went to stand at the window. Charles knew she wanted to protect Logan even thought he could take care of himself,

But he also knew that Marina though fixed of her HYDRA programming was still fragile and needed time to adjust, "Come, Logan, she needs time now." Logan looked in between his sister and the Professor before jogging to her side and giving her a quick kiss on the cheek then rejoining the wheelchaired man, "Bye Jimmy." she said softly but he heard and smiled as he followed the Professor back to their jet and then home to the manor. Marina still in front of the window watched the sleek black jet rise up and then leave taking her brother and his 'boss' away.

"You're the Winter Reaper." a female voice says from behind Marina. Looking at who through the reflection in the window she sees a red-headed woman. She's shorter than Marina by three inches but it works for her as she is really pretty and familiar to Marina. "Not anymore." the woman stepped up to Marina and tried to look her in the eye but she kept them locked on the forest outside the window. "You're the girl Barnes had been looking for, aren't you?" Looking at the red head, Marina frown. "I know he looked for me but he should have just gone on with his life."

Natasha frowned, "Why would you say that?" Natasha was confused, she had seen how concerned Barnes was when they were flying back and the silver armed woman was asleep thanks to Wanda's magic his hands would brush her hair out of her face as she lay with her head in his lap. Barnes didn't even pay attention to his best friend who has taken a seat next to him both of them seated at her head, "Because now that I'm no longer in HYDRA they're going to come after us and anyone we care about just to have us."

Nat nodded understanding this reason. "Is that why you let them take you? To give him a chance at a life?" Marina nodded and turned from the window to wander around, but she found herself back in the room she had woken up in. Redressing in her suit she made sure everything was zipped up and clipped into place. Marina was glad they had left her weapons on her. Though she kept the safeties on, she made sure that even though she was armed she wouldn't hurt anyone. Grabbing a long coat Marina didn't care whom it had belonged to it would be hers now.

Finding an exit that would be the most obvious for her to leave though she found paper and wrote a quick note for Bucky telling him that she left for his protection and that of his friends and that if he really needed her that she would find him. Pulling out a knife from her back pocket she stabbed the note into the wall near the door and left.

After Steve had come to him telling him to stay out of sight, Bucky saw Charles and Logan leave they had told him on their way out that Marina was up and in the communal living room, so without being seen by Ross, Bucky rushed up to see her, but when he got there it was empty, looking around he rushed to the medical room she had been in previously and it was empty as well, remembering the voice that controls the building he called to it.

"Friday? Where is Marina?" Bucky waited for the voice to reply, "She's no longer in the building she had left while everyone was in their meeting with General Ross, there is a note, however, hanging on the wall by the main entrance on the ground floor if you wish to know where she has gone." taking off Bucky ran to where Friday had said the note was, huffing and puffing. Bucky found the note, opening it he scanned the writing and glared at it, rushing back inside Bucky went in search of Steve.

"What do you mean she's gone?" Natasha asked when Bucky had found Steve with Natasha and Tony. "She left. As in she's not here." Nat raised her brow at him, "I figured as much but why?" handing the note to the red head Bucky moved about his temporary room to pack and get ready to look for her, "She left to protect us, she knew that if both her and Bucky were together that they'd attract HYDRA or what's left of it." Steve looked at Bucky and frowned "What in the world are you doing?" without stopping Bucky answered, "What's it look like I'm going after her."
