02 - Tobio Kageyama

You were walking home with the first year duo; practise had just ended so you were just coming back from getting meat buns. You smiled as you saw your boyfriend fighting with the older first year, Hinata. They were actually talking about their age at the moment. You found it very entertaining; you just smile and continue walking forward.

"Shut up Hinata!" Kageyama yells at the shorter person, you just roll your eyes at them. Hinata just laughs and gets on his bike, "See you later guys!" Hinata waves and bikes off in a different as well, "I better get going as well!" You smile and turning to your boyfriend; he just blushes and leans down and kisses you. You just smile into the kiss and kiss him back, you pull away after going the opposite direction Hinata went. Kageyama smiles and waves at you, you giggle and wave back at him, "Bye Tobio! I love you!" You say while running off in a different direction.

He sighs and walks home alone, this walk is very peaceful. He can't help but notice the moon rising beautifully. As soon as he makes his way home he can't help notice a box on the corner of the curb, he walks up to is to see a little kitten in the box.

The kitten was at least a week old, it looked cold, and desperate for warmth. It was huddled up in the corner of the box, Kageyama could help to pick it up. It was smaller than the palm of his hands, he turned around and ran towards the nearest vet.

On the way there he called his mother to tell her that he was going to be even later. She didn't even question why, she just let him. Kageyama just made the vet in time, he asked questions on how to raise the tiny thing. The vet gave him the tiniest bottle, an eye dropper, and explained how to raise the kitten. Kageyama was beyond excited to raise the kitten.

He thought that animals were scared of him, seeing that this kitten wasn't that old and got to grow up with him.

After the vet visit the was told to come back in six weeks for a follow up. He thanked the vet and started making his way home with a kitten wrapped up in a towel in his arms. He smiled at the tiny thing and thought about a name for her. After he found out the kitten was a girl he was happy. The most happiest thing he heard is that when he called his mother back and told her the situation, she let him keep the kitten.

As he walked through the door, he went to his mother's office to introduce the little kitten to her. She gasped when she saw the towel in his arms. She got up from the desk and made her way to her son. "Meet (Name of choice)." He smiled while he pulled back the towel to reveal the black kitten. She smile as she said hi to the little thing.

After that he pulled out the list of instructions on how to take care of the cat, he gave it to his mother and explained a few things to her. She happily obliged and read the list as soon as he left with the kitten and off to his room with a box and bedding inside for the kitten. He fixed the bedding the went to the thermostat and set the room to a specific temperature and fixed the box of bedding then set the kitten in.

He then placed a small blanket on top of the kitten and let it sleep. He then went to go get things ready for when the kitten needs to be fed again. He couldn't help but smile the entire time, he's always wanted a cat. Now he got raise his own kitten.

Next Day

He woke up from his slumber by his mother calling him downstairs for breakfast. It was a beautiful day a outside. When he got to the dining room he sees his mother feeding the kitten at the table. He smiles as he gets his food and sits down and starts eating. Then the doorbell rings.

Kageyama gets up to see both his girlfriend and Hinata at the doorstep. "What are you two doing here?" He asks while scratching the back of the head. You giggle and kiss his cheek, "I'm here to help you guys study, I ran into Hinata while walking here." He then remembers this. "Right! Come in!" He steps aside and let's you two in, he then walks to the kitchen where he doesn't see his mother, he assumes she put the kitten back in the box. "Oh Tobio, I changed her bedding." His mother walks in to the kitchen, her eyes widening at the two new bodies in the room. "(Y/N)! Hinata! Welcome!" She hugs both of them, "I made pancakes! Want some?" She asks cheerfully.

Hinata cheers but you stand there with confusion. "Her?" You ask with confusion, you look a little hurt, you assumed he was cheating on you. Tobio then clues in about the situation. "Oh! It's not what you think! Come see!" He pulls you to his room, you notice a box beside his bed, as you get closer you notice the little things inside.

You squeal and look at Tobio, "Oh it's adorable!" You walk up to the box and kneel down to look at the kitten. "What's it's name?" You ask before looking up at him, "It's (Your name of choice), I found her last night on my way home." You stand up and give him a hug, "Sorry I doubted you..." You say and look at him and give him a hug.
