Haikyu! X Reader

06 - Kenma Kouzume

"Daddy, where's mommy?" The little boy asks his father. Kenma smiles and picks up his son. "Mommy is in the hospital, she'll be alright, okay?" He kisses his son's cheek, "Be good for uncle Tetsu." He sets the little boy down and grabs the bags and walks out the door, heading to the hospital.

He walks up to administration to ask for his wife, "Excuse me, I'm looking for my wife, Kouzume (Y/N), she was brought in on the ambulance." He asks politely. The administration politely give him directions then he rushes towards the direction he needs to be heading in. After he heads to another administration, he has his things put in her room and puts on scrubs and rushes into a room where a nurse brings him in.

You were laying on a bed and your legs were spread and you had painful look on your face. "I'm so sorry for being so late." Kenma walks to your side and kisses your forehead. You just cry out in pain. "She's eight centimetres, almost there." The doctor says words of encouragement and then walks out. "I hope this child will be like you (Y/N)..." He rubs your stomach lightly. "Well, I'm pretty sure we'll have great kids anyways."

It took a few more hours to get to ten centimetres. You were in a lot of pain and you were tired but every time you tried to sleep you were awoken by contractions. "K-Kenma... It hurts..." You cry out. He just rubs your back, "It will be over soon, I promise." He kisses your temple and gives you a cup of water.

After many hours of labour; you given birth to a beautiful baby boy. You cried when you saw him. Kenma was so proud of this miracle. "I'm so proud of you (Y/N)... Thank for giving life to our new son..." He kisses your temple and smiles down at your son.

The next day, when you're sort of rested, Kenma calls Kuroo to bring his older son down to the hospital to meet his new baby brother.

"Uncle! Where's mommy and daddy?" He asks excitedly, Kuroo laughs and adjust him on his back. "They're upstairs with a special someone..." Kuroo smirks and heads to the elevator, "Press the button buddy." He smiles and bends down, "Which button Tetsu?" He asks with a few giggles. "Number three!" They giggle together and wait for the third floor.

They get closer to your room, they can hear you laughing, your son asks to get down. So Kuroo put him down and your son ran into the room seeing the back of his father, he giggles and runs up to his dad. "Up dad! Up!" He asks, Kenma turns around with a baby in his arms, "Oh! (Son's name)! You frightened me!" You smile at your son and sit up. "Hey (Son's name), this is your baby brother..." You pick him up and sit him down on the bed, "He's my brother?" He points to the bundle of blankets. "Yes he is... And as a family we will take care of him." Kenma turns around to Kuroo. "Do you wanna hold him?" Kenma asks, Kuroo's face lights up, "I'd love to." Kuroo carries the bundle of joy.

"Hey (Son's name), would you like to name him?" You both ask him, your son's face lights up, "Yes! I wanna name him!" He hugs you tightly. You smile and hug him back, "Not to tight, mommy is in a little pain." You say, he unclasps from you and apologizes. "It's okay, don't need to apologize." You kiss his head. "So about that name." You say to him, he brightens up more. He walks over to his uncle and smiles. "I want to name him uncle's first name!" He giggles, you both go wide eyed and look at Kuroo. "Why is that sweetie?" You ask him, he just replies, "Because I love him!"

From then on you knew, you did a good job raising your children...
