Fate (Jinyoung X Nayeon)

Fine.

Nayeon breathed in the fresh morning air as she exited her car.

The school was standing proud and tall in front of her, many things happened the past week and it was already July.

Time pass by so fast.

After that night - that she doesn't even want to think about anymore - the next day then, she tried to find some healing. And what better healing can be by taking a short vacation all by yourself. Putting all her stress and work behind and just enjoyed her time alone. She also left her phone back home.

She went alone of course. But, she tried to push away all those negative feelings aside. Loneliness, emptiness and grief. Besides if she didn't help herself, no one else can.

She came back yesterday Sunday, with a whole new breath. She kept telling herself that she's fine repeatedly, cheering herself up and putting on a smile every minute and second.

She tried to change herself with no one's help, for a new start.

Yeah, before this Minhyuk did help to change her from a wallflower to a braver girl, facing all her problems instead of running from them. And she won't forget that deed.

But now, she's starting a new chapter in her book. She wants to try to believe on the saying - expect a little but give much - from today.

She's going to be fine.

Heaving in a deep long breath, she held her head high and started to make her way to the school gates. But of course, there were many eyes on her, exchanging whispers and looks.

And for the first time, she didn't care about all those things avoiding being the old nervous and worrisome Nayeon.

She's perfectly fine now.

Jinyoung was confused.

Everyone was making a fuss that Nayeon was already perfectly fine present today and she even become the hot topic of the day for some reason.

But the weird thing was,

He didn't see her at all.

Even in the assembly, he didn't spot the familiar figure anywhere. Well but of course, he was too shy to ask his colleagues about her, so he just tried searching her by himself.

Not succeeding in finding Nayeon throughout the whole assembly, he gave up, but putting in mind to find her during her class in 5B after this. Jinyoung won't have any classes after the assembly which can give him some time to find that missing woman.

The assembly ended and still Jinyoung couldn't find her, all the teachers made their way, going to their respective places and he spotted Jihyo just by pass him.

Well she looks cheerful somehow.

Without thinking much, he called her. "Mrs. Park!"

Jihyo, who was humming a happy song to herself, stop her tracks finding the owner's voice. Her eyes were even wider as she grinned happily seeing who it was.

"Yes, Mr. Park, may I help you?"

On second thought, cat caught his tongue, as he suddenly didn't know how to rearrange the question that was bugging his mind since this morning.

"Um... How is..." 'Why am I even stuttering?' He scolded himself because of his nervous act in front of Jihyo, but still she waited patiently.

She already knows what Jinyoung was going to ask, but she wanted to wait until his mouth asked it first.
