Nayeon just arrived home and Minhyuk welcomed her, helping with all the groceries. Nayeon noticed that they were only two pair of shoes instead of three at the doorway and already assuming Jinyoung has went back home.
"You already had lunch?" Minhyuk asked opening up the fridge and arranging the containments.
Nayeon just shook her head, also reaching up for the cabinets to place all the dry ingredients.
"You want ramen instead of cooking?"
"You okay with it?" Nayeon knows sometimes Minhyuk was on his diet.
"Yeah, you must still be tired, after this go freshen up and have some rest. A movie maybe? I'll boil the water." Minhyuk stared on how pale Nayeon seems today. She still looks tired from yesterday night events.
"That sounds nice." She faintly smiles as she finished her part and made her way to her room.
Locking herself in, she stared at her laundry basket near the bathroom. Her clothes yesterday were piled up there and also memories from yesterday invaded her mind.
She felt her heart sank as she remembered the kiss. She couldn't deny that Jinyoung was really making a hard time for her.
With how her heart thump wildly like it was going explode, as their lips connected and not forgetting how the alcohol mixed in it felt so intoxicating leaving her bewildered and almost drunk in the kiss.
Nayeon doesn't want to deny also that she felt something because of the kiss.
But that feeling was wrong in so many ways.
She sighed tiredly as she discarded her clothes just now and wore a pair of more comfortable clothes. She washed her bare face a little and looked at her reflection.
She doesn't know what to do now. Jinyoung will probably won't remember anything especially the kiss.
Should she also act nothing did happened between them? She can act. Just like how she acted in front of Minhyuk being a little tipsy and making him believe nothing happened between her and Jinyoung.
She wasn't practically lying. She was just saving the relationship between her with Minhyuk and her with Jinyoung.
She doesn't want to think the consequences of a possessive and protective Minhyuk.
"Nayeon, the ramen is ready!" Minhyuk called a loud.
Nayeon tried to put up a smile on her face, telling herself repeatedly everything is going to be okay, she just needs to be careful.
She will deal with Jinyoung on Monday, she should spend quality time with her boyfriend who sacrificed a night sleep just to pick up her and Jinyoung.
She should be grateful for that.
She finally got out from her room and spotted Minhyuk already in front of the television with two bowls of hot ramen in front of him.
He greeted her with a smile and patted the spot next to him, asking her to take a seat.
"A movie?" He asked as Nayeon sat beside him. She just hummed a response as she looked the bowl in front of her. Truthfully, she doesn't have the appetite.
As the movie started Minhyuk was fully focused on it while Nayeon just blanked out, her noodles already soggy while Minhyuk has already finished. She decided to do the dishes first as she got up, taking both of their bowls.
And as somehow predicted Minhyuk didn't bother.
She came back just when the movie had already showed the ending credits. Minhyuk wrapped his arm around Nayeon and bring both of them closer.
